Just received a call from this number the man talked softly and I could not understand him. Finally I
asked who is calling. He said in a loud, strong voice I am calling to make arrangements to have your
package delivered in New Mexico today. I said in a firm voice "I am not expecting a package!!" and
the line went dead. Think it was a scam artist, trying to get in touch with someone who would take
the bait. The number originally showed on my phone as a 505 area code (New Mexico) not a number from Jamaica as it now shows.

I couldn't understand him very well,but he told me I have won 4.5 million from Publishers Clearing House.He asked for ID and I told him I didn't have any,lol.He said not even a DL.I said oh yeah I have that.He told me to go to Walmart and get a card.He expected me to call him back in 35 minutes,I said ok.I had other things to do and just forgot about it.He is being persistent,he has called 2 more times.He also told me that they would arrive with two U.S.Marshalls and a big check,but to make sure I did not tell anyone.I said ok.I must say I did not figure that I would find anything when I searched the number,I guess I am not the only one that is leary of things to good to be true.

DO NOT return the call from someone calling from a 876 area code.
This is not a toll free "800" number, it is the international long distance code for the island nation of Jamaica. You are charged international and long distance rates for calling this number. Other international/long distance area codes are 809, 284, and 649.

I received a call at 5:30am but did not answer because it was so early.  I called the number back about two hours later to see what company it was and it went directly to a man who said good morning(kinda creepy)I could not understand anything he said..he was very drunk or high...he hung up because I kept telling bim I didn't understand...I called back to ask to remove from mailing list and he said f*** you and hung up.

I received a call at 5:30am but did not answer.  I called back to ask what company and it was and the call went straight to a man who sounded very drunk...I could not understand what he was saying...he hung up and I called back...he said f*** you! Very strange!

I received a call from this guy who I could barely understand.  He said he was from some home and garden...not sure if he meant the magazine or what.  He said I had won $199,000 and he would send it to me via UPS.  I did not respond and after a couple attempts to engage me in conversation he hung up.  I reported the number to Verizon Wireless' fraud department and have been going to different websites like this one where I can report it to inform as many people as possible about this phone scammer.  He is calling from a cell phone in Jamaica.

I just received a call from this person he said that I had just won 500,000.00 and I needed to go to western union and get a senders form and then call him back. He ask if I wanted the media to be present that their would be two lawyers at my door when the money was given to me,they would want to know what I planned to do with the money.What a joke it is so funny to play along with these idots,he talks like he has a mouth full of rocks first of all.

so far i know a lady who has sent over $36,000.00 over a period of a year, with the promises of money money money money o yeah and a car. they needed money for a stamp to get it over here they needed money to the 2 million out of hold cause the mans name of Peter Brooks or Peter Phillips told them he had a stroke and that the money had been in holding and he needed $1,750.00  to get it out of hold. then the next day he would not answer her. or for the next 2 weeks. well when he finally callled her back he had been working on some more paper work and he thought he had it all together but it needed a stamp to get it to the usa so she sent $800.00 more to get the stamp so he would be here bright and early in the morningl guess what...... HE HAS NEVER SHOWN UP I HAVE BEGGED MY FRIENDS TO STOP THIS BUT THESES SCAMERS FIND PEOPLE HAVEN A HARD TIME OR LIKED TO BE TALK TO LIKE THEY ARE SPECIAL AND WANT TO COME SEE THEM AND OFF THE MONEY GOES. So i called one of the numbers and the man who answered said you got my 400.00 for your 2 million dollars you will get today? i said you are so full of crap i dont send you money if i have won money im not stupid. he hang up on me. so please people dont send money to them or you will have invested over $35,000.00

Whoever it is, is persistant.  they keep calloing about twice a week and because I do not know anyone in Jamaica and I know there are a lot of scams that can take place if you answer I have not answered.  I just thought I would google and see what is out there for it.  Glad I did.

I just got a call, asked me how I was doing.  Because of his accent (and he sounded like he was high on drugs or alcohol) I asked who he was.  He told me a name, which I can't remember and a company name and I said good bye and hung up.

I just received a call from this guy.  He said his name was mr. ?  couldn't understand what his name was.  he said that he was from the home and garden.  He was saying that I was the 3rd place winner in the amount of $4.5 million.  I asked him to take my number out of there system and the he disconnected the call.

He just called I bs on the phone for a bit he has something to do
With drugs and a package idk he hung up when I sed no

Wish I could add more to my post.  I just couldn't understand his name or the name of his company on my voicemail.

Just got a call from (876) 275-9704.  When I saw my phone indicated it was from Jamaica, I let it got to voicemail, thinking it was a sales call.  On the voicemail a man referred to me by my first name (which is on my voicemail) and he said his name was  Mr. XXXXX (couldn't understand what name he gave).  He said he was with US  XXXXXX....couldn't understand what the company name was.  I am sooooo glad I found this page to report this call.  Thanks!

This guy called several times in a row. Never left a message. I finally answered and it was a guy with a Jamaican accent. He said he was calling about a certified package to be delivered to me. When I asked what company he worked for said the aforementioned name but was highly irritated that I asked. I hung up.
