876 is the Area Code for Jamaica.  There is an active ring of scammers working the prizes scam claiming to be from Publisher's Clearing House or various sweepstakes. They all want you to send money via Western Union to someone in Jamaica or get a Green Dot Card with the money on it and give them the card number.  It is all a scam.  In the future do not answer any calls from the 876 area code.

a man from 1-876-278-7725 called me repeatedly saying that i won 2.5 million dollars. he then wanted money for processing. when i told him i did not have it he sent me a check that was for 1500 dollars that was suppose to be from a sponsor this check was fake. he then called and threatened my grand childrens safety and my own safety. he also called me up to ten times a day. he also pretended to be an fbi agent gave me a file number and said he worked for the treasurey

Have received 10+ calls a day from 876-278-7725. they want me to call back to clame a prize of $168,000 in money and cashiers check. this number is rerouted to Jamacia.
