received a call from 1 876 283 8856 michael with PCH . he asked me if i remember entering sweepstake a few yrs. ago.
the guy spoke with an accent and he was having trouble speaking ENGLISH (((REDFLAG)))
after about a minute he asked me if he could send me my prize...when i told him... sure you got my my info from the entry send it!!! the b*****d hung up  

Got the call this morning. Guy hung up after I said I don't remember entering the sweepstakes. I didn't believe him from the start cause my mom in law just dealt with that grandparent scam so I am suspicious of all calls I don't know.

Same thing as everyone else. A man called using a voice enhancer, "Michael" asked if I remembered trying to win Publisher's Clearing House, I said no. He said it was some years ago, I got annoyed and said said NO. He hung up without so much as a goodbye. I searched the number and found this, this is such a scam, called the number back and a got a Jamaican women telling me Michael's voice mail was full.

Sounded like he'd been smoking some major Jamaican weed - asked if I recalled entering the PCH sweepstakes and when I asked him to repeat himself, he did in exactly the same tone - it would be funny except I know he's probably scammed some nice folks out of money. I just told him he had the wrong number, then promptly called it from my business landline. It gave me some voicemail with a woman who has a lovely Jamaican accent. I really wish NSA would wiretap THAT number! End result is that I just blocked number on my cell. Jacka$$es!

just recieved a similar call from 876-868-5103 saying same things..won publishers clearing house.  Was an hr. away from the house, please call this number - 876-566-9316  and report a package number so they could deliver my package.  10 minutes later they called again and asked if I'd called.  I told them I believed they were a scam and they hung up.......

Scam don't fall for it!!

Same thing just happened to me. When I told him I'd never entered for Publisher's Clearing House, he immediately hung up. Then I Googled Publisher's Clearing House and got afraid I missed out on a jackpot, and then I Googled his number and found this.

Dammit, Michael from UPS in Jamaica! You got my hopes up.

Got the publishers clearing house call...he asked me if I remember signing up a while back and I said "nope because I never have"...then he hung up.

I just got a call on my cell phone also from 876-283-8856. He said he was trying to deliver a package from Publishers Clearing House and wanted to know if I would be home. I asked him twice what address he was trying to deliver to and he hung up. He sounded very weird like he was trying to disguise his voice. I made sure was Husband was home and ready to defend our home.

Just recieved a call from this number.wanted to deliver my winnings from pch that I entered two years ago. Sounded drunk! I told him to keep it and hung up!

I received a phone call today by the same man asking if I wanted or received a package to my house and I rodered stuff from eBay and received it today so it didn't bother me till something told me to Google the number

Got a call from 876-283-8856, Said he was from Publishers Clearinghouse and asked if I remembered signing up a few years back.   This guy was hard to hear and understand.   I told him that I had sent in on a few of PCH?s contests, but that was about it.  He said that I won and wanted to know if I would be home to receive the prize and if I had a sheet of paper to write down a confirmation number.  I asked him if I won something, then he hung up.  I always look up 8xx numbers that call to see who is calling.  I would not have answered it if I had not been waiting on a call.

Would have been nice to win something since I did not win the 420 million on the Powerball ? hahaha

Received the PCH phishing call. Reported to the FBI tip line.

A man (barely speaking English) called to advise he is the delivery driver for Publishers Clearinghouse. He did not address me by name or address any of my information. He asked if I remembered completing forms a few years ago for Publishers Clearinghouse. When I answered, "No," he told me to have a good day and disconnected the call.
I am under the impression that if I would have completed any forms for a large company, I would need to give them my information in which at least my name would be addressed when contacting me.

Someone called me today from (876) 283-8856 which showed as Jamaica on my caller ID. The individual said his name was "Michael from UPS" and he said he was calling because he had a check from publishers clearinghouse to deliver to me. I let him know I had never entered the publishers clearinghouse and he just hung up from.

Area code 876 is Jamaica. Your caller is a Jamaican SCAMMER who wants to steal your money. His SCAM is to ask you to send him money up front before he will give you the car, lottery winnings, whatever.
