Called 4 times in less than ten minutes early one morning.  I answered the first time, the voice (heavy accent, can't tell if it was male or female), said they were sending over a Brinks delivery truck with $2.5M, at which point I hung up.  Called back immediately and asked me "Why you hang up?", I said because I didn't enter any contest and couldn't have won $2.5M.  Called said it was a reward for paying my bills on time . . . yeah, right.  Caller kept talking and talking, I finally said "Look, you either want to sell me something or want something from me, cut to the chase and tell me what."  Caller said that they were going to pay 90% of the taxes on this major award, and all I had to do is send them a one-time payment for the rest of the taxes.  I hung up again.  Called back immediately and asked again, "Why you hang up?"  And I said, "How stupid do you think I am?  Stop calling me or I will report you to the FCC."  Hung up, called again and I let the answering machine get it (no message).  Next morning (Saturday) at 6:30AM they called AGAIN!  As soon as this guy started his spiel, I told him to stop calling me (actually I shouted it) and hung up.  They called again today - my husband got it.  They wanted him to send $500 to cover the taxes or whatever.   I reported the number to the FCC, but who knows if that will make it stop.
