I received the same call from a 876-849-4701 number saying I had won 550,00 and a BMW. The guy said he was Robert Nelson the prize director at MGM hotel. He also said to go to Walmart and get a green dot card and put $180 dollars on it. I did not fall for it but I called MGM and reported it.

Yes they did this to my son but luckily I was able to search the Web and open his eyes and he didn't loos his money but my son won 2.5 million and a 2014 Mercedes Ben to but needed my son to send James Porter 445 Dollars for the transportation of the car thank god for these comments !!!!!

Got a voicemail from a guy saying he was from the mgm grand and said I had entered into some contest and was the second place prize winner or 2.5 million. Now me and my husband have been to Vegas many times and also stayed in the MGM grand. So I thought it was legit for a second but I had to call and make sure. The person was named George Greatman and supposedly he was leaving work for the day but would stay so he could help me out.....what a load of crap that was. He said he didnt have my info with him at this time so he needed all my info so he could mail the check to me! Ha yea right I hung up on him and he kept calling back until my husband got on the phone and said some not so nice words to him. Another too good to be true story lol

a man name john harvey and said i won 3 million dollars and said i needed yo go wal- mart to get money scracth off card for 100 dollars and then they would show up at my house with the money so when they called back 1 hour later i told them i got the card and then they wsnted the numbers ogf the back of the card so i told them no so then he started to get mad so i hung up on him then he called back and i told him that i lied to him and t didnt get that card then he was real upset. then lol

I recieved a call from James Garden and Steven Collins and Mr.Banker Banker (lmaooo) saying that i won 3.5 millon dollars!!! But wait I also get 150 THOUSAND dollars in cash. All I needed was my package # my license and a Green Dot card. The numbers were (206) 984-7646 and (1876) 458-2508 they said they were from the unclaimed division at mgm grand. I asked how I was selected he said because I shop with my credit card at cvs the second sheet you get sends your phone number to them and they randomly selects it so we told him we would call mgm grand and kept saying no theyll just tell you to call mr Banker Banker (obviously his friend probably standing next to him) so I called Mgm Grand in las vegas and they said it was a scam at the same time Steven called me back and he was mad and cursing because we were talking to security.Always verify people and look for signs. Dont be a Victim.

I received a call from 876-297-7529.  A man told me that he was from the MGM Grand Casino and that I had been selected, "along with other citizens" as a winner of $25,000 and a new Mercedes. He told me that he was ready to come and make the delivery and that all I needed to do was pay $190 to cover the shipping fee.  I told him I did not have any money.  He told me he had $100 dollars in his pocket that he would give me if I could come up with the $90.  I told him that I did not have that either.  He then said he could take as low as $50 when he showed up with my check.  He also said that when my car was delivered that I would be given my money back.  He even asked what color car I wanted, black, blue, or candy red.  I asked for a phone number where I could call to verify that this was for real.  I told him that I recently got a similar call from "Publisher's Clearing House" with a similar deal and that I called the PCH myself at the number they have for winner verification and found that was nothing but a scam.  Both PCH and the police told me that nowhere that actually gives grand prizes ever asks for any money and can always provide a number for verification.  The man told me the same thing the guy from PCH told me.  He said that he was going to cancel my check as a forfeit and give the car to charity.  I told him that would be just fine and to not call back.  He slammed the phone down.  When I looked up the number on Google it showed the number was from Kingston.

Clearly your mother was a victim of a scam and for that reason should not owe any money to anyone.  She needs to report it to the police and give them all the information.  For her own peace of mind she should tell the police she is being told she owes $500 or go to jail.  The police can get that matter cleared up for her. She should go to the bank where she  cashed the check and speak to the bank manager, who will contact their fraud department. Have a copy of the police report to give the bank.

Had basically the same thing that happened only this guys name was David Brown. The weird part is I do play at a casino operated by MGM Grand in Biloxi. This guy knew my players club number, my home address, my date of birth and my telephone number. He gave me a code and told me to call a number to verify my win. He says a UPS guy will be at my house at 10:45AM tomorrow along with three ladies from Bank of America and reps from MGM Grand. The thing that really bothers me is how they got my personal info.

I Have received numerous calls, from Edward Clark at MGM Grand Casino along with power ball lottery and associated with Publishers clearing house and Readers Digest.he gave me his office # 702-421-9031 (A Jamaican #) and another # 801-251-6075 I won 6 million in a cashiers check, $100K in cash and a red 2013 Mercedes.  He called from 876-299-9284 also 876-350-9384 an unknown and a restricted # 5 calls today!

He asked me what time it was. He asked where the nearest store was, I was to go to the nearest store and get a green dot card for $125. once I got the processing fee UPS would deliver it all to me. I gave him a very difficult time asking lots of questions. I asked if he would loan me the 125 and I would pay him back when I got the cash. I asked for verification, he said he was appointed by the government, I asked what the agency was called, he said Barak O'Bama personally appointed him to my prize LOL! He asked if he could meet me and bring me 2 dozen lilies, I said sure at the store next door. I asked what city he was in and he referred me to his supervisor named Benjamin Franklin!!!! I replied saying oh that's a mighty American white name for a Jamaican! This is where the story changed no longer was UPS delivering now the Prize team is in my city and state waiting for the processing fee to deliver. I asked what city and state they were in and he said my city, why do you ask so many questions? i said can you answer my question or are you lying and are unable to,,,or perhaps you are just stupid and don't know where you are? he hung up and called back in 5 mins. He apologized for the bad connection and asked why I was asking some stupid questions like as if he doesn't know where he is .. I said great than why don't you answer? He said I am at MGM Grand in Bellevue Wa. I said wow when did they put an MGM Grand in Bellevue I was just there yesterday! So I said why don't you drive the 2 hours to where I am when you hand me the 100K I will hand you the 125 you want for the processing fee and hand you another 500 on top of it! After batting around my ball of string a while more He called me a female dog. I said no one in your position should be treating the customer this way and hung up. By then I had killed enough time to look up his numbers and scam online. FYI I get these calls every so often and a ton of other telemarketers for various things. All of them think I was at an address in Bothell in which I was there for only for a few months in 2008. During that time I signed up for those free grocery coupons where you pay $1.95 for shipping for $500 in gas coupons among many others. The list has been sold several times over to legit and fraudulent companies. At the same time I had gone after many of those Get a $500 home Depot Card and had to sign up for 5 offers to never get my card. I was a sucker for less than 2 bucks but not for more than that! Just tested repeatedly. Be ware and watchful of what you click on and think is a good deal, it may lead to harassment for years.

I got an email from some company claiming to be the UN. The email said my email has been selected to receive $2.5 Million american dollars. I called through to the dude and his answering machine was like "Hello, this is the UN Office," all i can say is this is the most stupid scan ever. I told them if they wanted to call me then call to South Korea to the temporary mobile i have with me. They didn't respond, these people make me sick.

Robert Young has called me on my cell phone on numerous occasions..  This time the number was from 876-884-6471.   This time I had won a 2011 Mercedes and 3.5 million from MGM....Lucky me!  I had messed with them last time and figured I'd be done with them....I think because I could not hear them and called them back the first time they think I'm gullible.  Anyway I had my fun....leading them around in circles...heard lots of noise in the background and then just laughed uncontrollably when he said that I needed to send him 3500 dollars right away or else he was giving my prize to someone else...I was the only one standing in the way of my prize.....I can't believe people actually send these people money!!!!  The guys are def Jamaican...not Indian.....but if they are going to waste our time trying to scam us...why not F@$k with them as much as possible.....good times...

I got a call from James Porter saying I won 1.5 million and a mercedes, and then when he called back he claims I won 750,000 and a mercedes. He wanted me to give him 479.00. Hell no! So I called fed ex people that they claimed that my prize was waiting and looked up mgm casino and it was all fake just like I thought. Don't give these people your money. If you ever really win a sweepstakes you don't ever have to pay money! The number was 876-362-7007. There was a girl that answered the phone and the guy James Porter that claims you won money.

We just got a message on our phone from "David Smith" from "MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada"......Yeah Right! He said we won $10.5 million, and congratulations on being a millionnaire! What a load of crap. I just thought I'd check it out here for the fun of it.....exactly what I thought. The number was 1-888-826-2691 in case anyone would like to call it back and claim our money for us....feel free!

My brother has been dealing with a Ben Sherman who has an Indian accent represents he works for MGM Las Vegas #876-265-6479 got my brother on the hook our house is going into foreclosure now because of it.  He also dealt with MGM Jamaica.  He sends his money to IRS 631 Robert Place, Dupot, ILL 62239; He also deals with Jim Steve at 1685 Grizilo Drive, San Jose, CA 95124.  These people have taken everything from my brother and I want to catch them and put them in jail.
