Caller said his name was Mr. Joseph Kennedy and sounded like a computer generated voice. Told me he was from Publisher's Clearinghouse and I had won $485,000 and a red Mercedes. He preceded to ask questions about marital status and age. I told him this was a scam and hung up.

Yes, I received the same call just now - $485K + Mercedes + 2yrs free gas and insurance.  The guy gave the name of Joshua Miller.  He wanted me to accept delivery of my prize at home this morning and I would be escorted to my bank (RED FLAG!).  As he became aware that I was searching this phone number on my computer he became a little irritated, and finally said, "Do you want the prize, or not?".  When I said no, he hung up abruptly.

Publishers Clearinghouse telling me I'm a winner of $485K plus a Mercedes. I just needed to pay a 1% tax. They even called back a second time.

This number was used in a scam claiming to be Publishers Clearinghouse.

Was told I was a winner. That is far as they got. I asked if they knew who they were calling and they immediately hug up.
