News has been reporting this 1 ring scam all week long. Was at work, my phone rang. I didnt answer. It rang again, same number. ..didnt answer. Thought maybe it was the 1 ring scam...googled the # and found all you lottery winners!

Called with the lottery win scam,, specific to the state my area code says I'm in. I immediately suggested he was going to jail for the scam and I would be reporting his telephone numbers to the authorities. He hung up.

Got this call from Kingston , Jamaica... said I won 2nd place , 185,000  and 2013 Range Rover...He ask his name was Robert Johnson ( asst. Manager)..  Address he gave of location was 286 west 151 st. NY, NY.. Hmmm..caller Id says Jamaica.... He was relentless.. I said I was going to contact my lawyer about my winnings and he said Why?  he wouldn't know anything about this.. He kept calling me honey...scammer...

Continue to call.   We've begged for no more calls.   Scam.  Wants money to claim a prize.

Guy kept calling trying to get me to go to Western Union.  I kept hanging up, he kept calling...pesky little guy.  Finally stopped after about 20 minutes.

ps- on the same day I place my name on the do not call list- I get a call from this guy- how weird is that?

james washington called from jamaica said I won 155k and a new mercedes- calling from publishers house and in order for me to get the price- I will have to go to a western union and pay $250- scam scam scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EP,  I'm glad you weren't suckered in by the Jamaican joy boys.  btw,  the do not call list offers no immunity from scammers.  They are criminals and they could care less about the Registry.

Received call yesterday said his name was James Peterson, assistant manager with Publishers Clearing House. Said I won 3rd prize $250,000 plus 2013 red Mercedes Benz convertible.  Gave me name and address a couple of miles from my house where I was to go to see attorney who would give me the car.
Wanted my cell phone number,which I refused. My husband got on phone & guy told him he was a teller at Bank of America and we would have to go to same address to claim car. What a scam. We are on do-not-call list.  I called and reported it to Sheriff's office.

I got a call from these jerks they already know who you are and where you live. Don't fall for their bull....Also on the do not call list so much for that to !!!! Told them do not call again but they keep calling!!!

Got a call from a guy that was obviously foreign and he spoke very slowly. Claimed he was from a lottery and I had been selected.  Told him I was not interested and he replied "no stop, now just listen",  I told him I did not want to deal with a scam and to have a nice day..GOODBYE! and hung up.
Caller id said Jamaica.

This guy is relentless...I didnt listen to his whole gimick but he has repeatedly called me ..and when I said I was going to report him he told me he was the FBI.  I cant believe anyone would fall for this.

Same story. Called me repeatedly and I refused to answered further, then got another call with no number showing that I answered, so he said how come I didn't answer his call. well, I told his flat out that I DOn'T WANT TO TALK TO HIM! That stopped further alls, so far.

Received a call from a man with a foreign accent saying that my phone number had been chosen at random and I had won $250,000 and a new Porsche 911.  I told him to just send the money and leave the car in my driveway and the keys under the mat at the front door.  He said he would need some info first and that's when I hung up.  However, he has since called 4 more times, but when I've seen the 876 area code I haven't answered.

One inconsistency: He said there are three colors of Mercedes cars I could choose. I said I don't like Mercedes. He offered two colors of BMW's, red and black. I choose the blue one, he said OK.

He didn't ask my name. He asked my citizenship, and wasn't fazed when I said I'm not a US citizen. I know most all US lotteries would require citizenship.

OK, off to Western Union now, I want my millions and car!

I was told to send $250 to Cion Vernon through Western Union in order to get $250,000 and a 2011 Mercedes Benz. He also gave me a number code to prevent fraud... haha, guess it doesn't work if he is the fraud! Busted.

Gott a call about 2:00pm today.  The caller tried to get me to take  $500 to western union and that was required to get my prize of $250,000 or a new car!!
