a man called & said he was with publishers clearing house and we won.

He said his name is John Wayne, and husband won publishers clearing house... and needs checking acct. number so deposit

877 Jamica long distance called again but left a message this time. Caller said :"This is John (same last name as me) calling. You need to imediately call back (gives a number) to verify a package to be delivered to you." No, I didn't call and it is listed  in the column to the right as scam #9 on the list of "16 ways you can be phone scammed." Long distance scam where they keep you on the phone to run up super large phone bill!

Call came in 9/18/09. Caller ID said KINGSTON JA  I looked up the area code and sure enough, Kingston Jamica. Who/What/Why??? Unknown: did not leave message on answer machine.
