Prank Call
I was sitting in class with my friend and her phone rang. She answered think it was someone calling her back about a car she was looking at. When she answered they said hello I am a UPS driver. She asks what this was concerning. He asked her if she remembered signing up for something awhile ago and she said I'm sorry I'm in school and he immediately hung up the phone. His voice sounded very computerized and slow.

Prank Call
Got a call Easter Sunday, April 20th.  I was in the middle of cleaning the house and watching my toddler, so I was not paying attention.  He claimed to be a UPS driver from PCH and he said "It sounds like you don't believe me"  I said "I don't" told me to call another number and I did (I should not have) a lady answered claiming to be from PCH but her voice sounded American and pleasant.  She connected me to the supervisor, however he sounded just like the first guy I talked to (imagine that) the supervisor said "It sounds like you don't believe me"  I said "I don't"  He then said "Don't mess with me or I'll send someone to your house to kill you" and then he hung up.  The voice sounded Middle Eastern and computerized.  I called the police and told them what happened. They were very nice and told me to call my phone company.  I called Verizon and they credited my account.

Recieved a call this morning froma man claiming to be Mr. David Clark....Not with that accen! He may have been born Habib, but he wasn't a David. Said he was the UPS driver for Publisher's Clearing House. Having friends that work @ UPS, I knew better immediately. He asked if I remembered signing up, a long time ago. I said, "yeah, 30 years ago" He hung up. I called the police to see if they have been getting reports of this. She said no, not yet. Instructed me to call the Indiana Attorney General's Office (317-232-6201) & report it, so I did. With that phone call, I was instructed to call the Federal Trade Commission Office (877-382-4357) & report it. I know there are lots of people that would believe these scammers, so PLEASE report them to help protect someone who might not know it's a scam!

Prank Call
Saw a call from 876-307-9139 on my cell phone and thought it was Jamaica, NY so I called it back.  A guy answered the phone just saying hello and when I said I received a call from this number, he said he was from Publisher's Clearing House and that I won a million dollars and a Mercedes from the contest I entered and I said I didn't.  He said maybe your wife did and I said she wouldn't use my cell phone number.  He said to collect the prize you had to go to Walmart and get a wire transfer for $750.  I said to him that I thought PCH comes to your door to tell you that you won and they don't give away cars either.  He started getting cocky on the phone and I told him I was going to check with the Better Business Bureau and then he started cursing and yelling at me, etc.  I told my wife and she googled the number and found the number originated in the country of Jamaica and it was a scam.

This guy was amazing. Claimed to be a PCH "delivery driver" and when I said, "This sounds like a scam," he told me to "go suck your husband's ..." (you get the idea). Unbelievably, he didn't hang up. I told him he was clearly too dumb to realize how to turn off his own caller ID, and then I hung up on him.
