Somebody from a so-called contest has been calling my mother for the past couple of months from Kingston, Jamaica under different numbers under the 876 area code.  I tried to block these calls and change my numbers, but they refuse to stop.

I called the REAL contests, and they don't call the potential winners of their contests.  These bogus contesters wanted my mother to send a huge money order to send the so-called valuable prize package to her house. contact the phone service and the Jamaica authorities to identify the crooks at once!  thank you.

I received  a call to  deliver a package.  I hung up as I had an email about this scam.  What should I have done?

I got a call this morning from this #. Man did not speak English very well. Stated that he had a package to deliver that was a prize for paying my bills on time. Wanted to know if I wanted it delivered public or private & then wanted to speak to my husband. Tried to confirm my address & phone.
