the call I received asked for my daughter and said she had won a laptop, and in order for UPS to deliver the package I had to send money thru moneygram. We realized it was a scam and stayed on the line, we thought it was funny because he couldn't pronounce anything right, when he realized we were laughing at him, he turned very nasty, cursing and threating sexual things. We hung up and wouldn't pick up the phone. His number was blocked, he gave us the number 1-876-372-8667 to call back to confirm earlier in the conversation. This was 2 weeks ago, and yesterday he lefted a message on my machine, saying I am trying to deliver your prize, pick up the f-ing phone. It's starting to get a little wierd.

Received a call from 876-372-8667  There was alot of background noise and this male voice was asking for someone to give him a checkbook number.  I have received calls from Jamaica before with a man calling himself George Washington telling me I won 2.6 million dollars.  I knew this was garbage because I don't enter contests.  They also try to make it sound like they know you very well by using a first name.  I would like to block all of these calls from Jamaica.  They come in under different numbers.  I am to the point that I don't pick up the phone anymore.

This guy calls himself Scott Artrip to my mom and was able to have her send $1,000 before we caught it but she won't believe us and gave him her cell phone number and he keeps calling her and harassing her.  I called told him I had turned him in to the FBI (which I did) and gave him the case number if he wanted to call and help them out catching.  I'm sure he was swearing at me but I wasn't listening as i was busy telling him off.  He is really stupid because I see he is still using the same phone number scamming others.  Well at least his california address he is having money wired through is no more so now he has to find another place to have someone in the US collect it for him as he lives in Jamaica.  Very dumb but at least mom was only out a $1,000.  

The best thing to do is turn it into the FBI fraud unit with his number and all the information he gave you.  That way it builds a case on his US contracts and just makes it harder for him to collect when he has to change his US office for you to wire money to.

I just got a phone call on my cellphone, which is a number that I nevr give out.  This was a "African" sounding lady that was tripping over her words.  My caller id said "private number" when she called.  When I answered, she said, "Hi, I am calling to tell you that you won 1.5 million "American dollars" from a enter from the Publisher's Clearing House. And we need to deliver this check to you today to your house at....  How do you feel about that?" (She knew my full name and address) And asked if this was me, I said yes and she said, "Good, I got the right person."  I said that I believe this to be fake.  While her baby was crying in the backround, "She stated that it was not a joke, that she doesn't have time for that."  So then I asked her why is was calling me from a blocked number?  She gave me this number- 1-876-318-6520 and said to call it for your claim to your prize.  It should illegal for companies to sell our private info!

During Scam call to tell me I'd won $ and should send $185 to JA via Western Union 1-876-889-57600 was given as a call back number.  Beware.

Call from person, possibley female.  We won 1.5 million from WachIOva Bank (her pronunciation) and had to get to Wetern Union today and send $185. to Ricardo Reid in Kingston Jamaica.  Choice of private or televised delivery choice.  Money would be delivered today, after confirmation of transfer of funds, by an attorney who is based out of California.  Said not to tell anyone because we could be robbed.  When I asked if I could tell the police she told me that they are partnered with the FBI and U. S. Marshalls and that telling the police wasn't a good idea.  Also said this is based in Florida, even though it's a Jamaica Bank.  Did have close to my address.  Had to check computer for it...  Bad Scam.  Interesting that a dog was barking in the background!
