Call came to my cell phone from 876-401-8758 and I ignored the call, then looked the number up online. While I was doing this my husband received a call from the same number on his cell phone (his number is one digit higher then mine). 'James Robertson' told him he had won publishers clearing house of $1.5 million check plus $100,000 cash. All he had to do was send a Green Dot Money Card for $350 dollars. He was to call back when he had the card and the people would be to our house in 45 minutes after he called back. He told them just take it out of the winnings. 'James' said they couldn't do that. It had to come from him prior to getting the money. He strung the guy along for a while until he finally just told him he didn't want the winnings. He knew where my husband would have to go to get the money card and he said a city close by that the publishers clearing house people were staying in.

I received a call from this number today from a James Peterson asking me to call back and receive 1.5 million in a Publisher Sweepstakes.

Just got call today saying they were Publisher Clearing House and I won 1.5 million. I said I dont beleive it and he asked why. Duh, I am not envolved with Publishers Clearing House. He wanted to know if I was at home and I replied it wasnt his business. He hung up! Loser!

At 6:30 this morning I got a call that went to my voice mail.  The man identified himself and said he was from publishers clearing house and I was a reward winner and to call him to retrieve my award.  I Immediately knew it was a scam so ignored the call. Hopefully no one falls for this, as a good friend of mine fell for a lottery scam that ended up costing him $2500.00 (yeah he is a moron)  

Got a call from this number...guess who?? Publisher's Clearinghouse and I had won $1.5 million...said no thanks and hung up.  Said his name was John Amos..I think, as his accent was pretty heavy.

Said he was from Publisher clearing house. I didn't call back.

I just recieved a call from 1 875 4743985 say we won 3 million plus 300 thousand and get this!!! a new car from JOHN MITCHELL   we had to payt a 199.00  money order or cash card  from Walmart  and they are coming over tomorrow with the vehicle.and a package/ I'll let you all know they show up I think it's kind of hard since the call is from Jamacia .

James Jefferson with the "PACH Publishers Clearing House" just called my wife.... We've won millions of dollars AND! AND! AND! A new black Mercedes. He asked my wife if she knew what a "tow truck" was, because our brand new car would be coming on a tow truck!  He gave her a bunch of numbers, and asked her to go to WAL-MART  -  Something to do with receiving a $195 check.  But, since we aren't going to go to WalMart and get a new car off the back of a tow truck, I can't say much more.  He called from 1-876-454-8943.

Such hogwash.  There are two things that concern me here. 1.) That these guys are using such poor tactics... A new car! On the back of a"tow truck"?  Folks, I don't think so.. and the second thing that concerns me here, is 2.) THAT PEOPLE ARE FALLING FOR THIS NONSENSE.

i recieved a call from a 8764133171 number and like all other post this guy said i won a bmw and 1.5 mil all i had to do was pay the 1% of the processing for them to stamp my check and send them $325.00 on a money pack 14 diget scratch card. smh

It doesn't take any "research" to see that you don't need to pay any money to win a prize, and taxes are not levied until you actually get the money, not before!

Well, his name is now James.  My wife and I were thrilled to have won $4 million.  We only had to send him $1,500.00.  What a deal!!  He was able to negotiate the federal tax rate down to 3.75%.  The entire US government can't even do that.  He gave the address to send it to as; 508 Cartwright Road Fort Worth Texas. It is truly humbling to know that a corporation as large as Publisher's Clearinghouse operates out of a 3 bedroom one bath 672 sqft house, just off airport freeway.
I have to give him points for guts, though.  I called him a liar and a thief and he never missed a beat.  He has his story down pat and has an answer for everything.  And, if persistence were gold, he would be a Midas.
I am now anxiously awaiting his agent to show up by 10:30 am with my money.  I hope he doesn't get a speeding ticket.  James told us that he had two deliveries to make today.  One in Amarillo and one in Houston. I guess they don't have Texas maps in Jamaica.

My mother got a call from a fella "1 876 894 1308" claiming to be from Publisher Clearance House and has a 3.5 million. He wanted $199.00 money gram sent to  a Lawyer Conroy Secron and it was to be sent to  St. James Jamaica WI.

She never sent anything and won't. I almost went along with it until I searched everything up. People don't get scammed by this.

I recieved a call from 1-876-401-8758 this morning from a man claiming that I had won 1 million dollars from Publishers Clearing House.  He ask me to verify my address and a U.S. Marshall will come and deliver my winnings.  I ask him for a number to speak to another representative to verify my winnings before I gave him any personal information.  He gave me 1-876-432-1646, and told me to speak to John Wilson who was the President of the company.  I then research this number finding this web site.  5 minutes later the "President" John Wilson called me.  He sounded like the same guy who originally contacted me.  I ask him if I had to send any money to recieve my winnings.  He said I needed to go to Walgreens and purchase a Money Pop Card for $360.  The people delivering the money will need that card for verification and escort me to the bank.  I told him I didn't have the money and he lowered the amount to $200.  He then tried to assure me that he was a God fearing man and wouldn't lie.  He also said if I don't take the money, it will go to feed the "starving poor people of America".  He said, "I guess you don't need the money because you are already well off and you can afford to miss out on this opportunity".  I told him that I didn't know that people PCH had a site in Jamaica, and gave their money to "Poor American's" instead of their own poor.  He must have realized at that point that I already knew what was going on and hung up on me.  LOL What a doofus.

Recieved the same type of call at 16:30, did not catch the the name of the company or caller, but the caller ID showed it to come from Jamaica, and he too stated that I had won 12 million, but had a number he wanted me to write down ans call, well at the time I was holding a paint brush in my hand. so i told him that I was painting and could get to a pen and paper right now, and asked him if he would call me back later, he mumbled something about calling the number that was on my screen later, well of course I am not. Besides I had not entered any contest either, and as they say if it sounds too good to be true, you can bet its not true. Oh well even it was true after the taxes, what would be left would have been nice, maybe next time.

Got two calls this morning you got it right, caribbean accent. He just repeated won $20 million and a Mercedes Benz (lots of that going around LOL) Told him  Icouldn't understand him, not interested in winning money and/or a car.  He could keep it, I was feeling generous. Told him to stop bothering me.  Called 5 minutes later and now called me another name, told him wrong name, same number, same information  and hung up.

Recvd call from 876-401-8758.  Caller said that he was from Publishers Clearing House.  I had won a 2012 Escalade and $12 million dollars.  Physical address of prizes, 1432 South Main St, Fort Worth, TX 76155.  Was supposed to pay $250 for storage charges for vehicle and $150 for shipping of prize money.  Am supposed to wire funds Western Union to Patricia Barrett, St. James Jamaica, WI.  He reassured me that 98% of the taxes that would be due were paid by the company.  Prize claim number 122700IAN.  Anything too good to be true, generally is.  Be careful.
