I just got a call from someone they got mad and yelled at me when I asked them who they work for so anyone please do not fall for this scam. I'm sure they're in to take YOUR money rather than you win money.

Yup, I got a call from this number too and same old thing.  He also called my mom and told her that she won $5 million dollars and a new truck.  All she has to do is go to any Western Union by 12pm to send them $$$ and then at around 4pm someone from UPS will be delivering a package, but she needs to have the "receipt" from Western Union in order for her to receive the package from UPS?? Really?  Seriously?  I called him back and talked to him.  He told me exactly what he told my mom and I told him that I'm not having my mom do anything.  He said that they have a lawyer in Hawaii that is working with them, I told him I work for a law firm (true story) and to give me the lawyers name....uuhh, NEVER HEARD OF THAT LAWYER BEFORE!!  Lawyer is NOT LISTED anywhere in the bar book.  Anyways, I told him that he better STOP calling and harassing my mom with his SCAM.  He got really angry and started yelling and swearing at me and telling me we're losing out on big $$...blah blah blah....then he had the nerve to tell me that he'll be calling the cops because I was "leading him on" with hopes of getting $$ and threatened me that the cops will be at my house at 4pm....really?? you have an "exact" time the cops will be at my house?  I told him, go right ahead and call them, because I have relatives that work for HPD, so I don't give a CRAP what you say.  I hung up and he had the NERVE to CALL BACK and Curse my mom out with more threats!  JERK!!  Yea, no cops or UPS man and we told a friend of ours that just so happens to be a HPD Sgt. he told us that there's a scam and next time give him THEIR number to call!

I received a call from this same man today (Jamaica 876-406-7290), I was too curious about getting a random call from Jamaica to not answer. It was after he said I had won 2.5 million and a new Mercedes from some Wal-Mart drawing and because I pay my utility bills on time that I told him no thank you and that I wasn't interested. As i was hanging up I could hear him exclaiming "What!? What!? I couldn't help but chuckle. I called Wal-Mart to let them know about the scam and they blew me off. It's weird that I received his call right after returning home from shopping at Wal-Mart too.

D they want you to call back....Do not answer they are scammers!!

Received a call,answered and they hung up.

He called me this morning and said that his name was Michael Anderson with winstar international in association with wal mart and my name had been chosen at my store for 2.5 million dollars I told him I'm just 17 and can't do anything about it and I know it's a scam I have the iPhone and it shows where the call came from and my phone says Jamaica I called and reported it to the sheriffs department in my town

Mr. James has been calling me for several months now.  I can recognize his accent after first few seconds and after telling him not to call again I hang up.  Doesnt seem to slow him down a bit, every few weeks he rings again trying his scam.  Going to try blocking his number next...

Funny I see couple people on this post that look like might be from Hawaii. This is the 2nd day in a row that ive had a missed call from this dumb a**. I don't have time for this junk. Does anyone know if you get charged for intl calls like this if you don't answer the call?

A***ole called me too and said he wanted to marry me.   I told him what if I was an FBI agent then he hung up!  I hope he gets caught!!

You say you called him back.......  Have you seen your phone bill yet?  That won't be pretty.

On 1/04/2013 someone from this number called my cell phone and said "Good Morning" in a familiar tone.  I said good morning.  He said "How are you?"  as if we were friends.  I laughed as I thought it was an old friend, but then I said, "who is this?" He responded, "This is Michael James."  I asked him to identify himself more clearly, and he hung up.

This guy just called me too and said that I won 5 million dollars wanted me to go to Foodland to pay my 1% tax.......yeah right.

Called my  elderly mother, this is the second go around of calls from this kneejerk.  He wanted her to go to walmart or another western union and  "sign" a paper.  I kept trying to explain to her you don't just sign something at western union unless you send or receive money.  He (Michael James) also said someone would be at her house 12 noon to deliver a new red mercedes and 5 M dollars.  Luckily I have access to a computer and could show her all of the above comments, but how many other people is he preying on and getting them to send 300.00 (for the 1% tax)   This just burns me up. I called him, and told him if he didn't stop I would report him, but I know and he knows, nobody is going to do jack about people like him.  He is in Kingston, Jamaica.  He has called my mom 4 times since 10:00 this morning.  I hope he is sitting by the phone waiting for notification his scam money has been sent.  NOT HAPPENING ON MY WATCH!  Please just be aware and if you have elderly parents that are vulnerable to scams like these, to just hang up the phone.

Got a call this morning.  I have to go to Western Union or Foodland to send my 1% of the government tax payment for the 5 million dollar prize I won, even though I never entered any drawings. $500 to western union?  Sure, uh huh, right.  Played along until he let me "get dressed" to go down to Western Union.  Left him on hold for a half hour then hung up the phone.  After declining about 6 phone calls in a row, he may have gotten the message, if he calls back, I'll just have some fun with him.

Said I won some large sum of money and a truck...I played along a bit.  He asked me to go to wal-mart to send money for the taxes on my prize.  I finally told him that most people know this scam.  He got irate and said he was going to find me and cut my f'n head off and stuff it down the toilet.  I chuckled a bit and he continued with the explatives and told me he was going to get a visa and come find me...said he was also a suicide bomber...cut my head off f'n f'n.  He said his name was Michael James.

I just want to know where my prize is!  Wal-mart??

I missed a call from this number and got a text--the text only gave the number as a call-back number.  Obviously, I didn't call back.

Same thing here. Told me I had won $5M dollars. I hung up the second I heard what he was saying.

called me to tell me my name had been drawn to win a prize (I haven't put my name in any drawings). He wouldn't tell me who was calling and when I asked how he got my number, he hung up.
