Got  a call this morning from this number saying that I won a prize from Publisher Clearing House. When I asked him why was he calling from Jamaica, first he lied and said he is calling from the west coast. When I told him that I know that Jamaica's area code is 876, he started to hurl a string of profanities towards me. I simply hung up. This is a scam!

This is a slimy neegle yeye from Jamaica.  If you go to the FTC website and search on Jamaican Telephone Scams you will find an article there about joint efforts to end this plague and a number or online link to report the call.

This guy called me, and when I asked to be removed from the list he started calling me profanities. When I called him back he refused to let me talk to a manager. How do I report this properly to the authorities?

Recd a call from "United States Post Office" wanting me to call 1 877 455-2416 and talk to Steve Kennedy, President of the Postal Service to arrange for the post office to drop off the money I won tomorrow morning.  I won 2.5 million dollars and needed to pay 1%($399) before the package was delivered.  I exploded and told him this is a scam and hung up.

calling my cell as peter williams saying i won 2.5 million dollars. he will not tell me how he got my name or cell phone number. Wants me too send 475.00 western union to some guy in lauderdale.

Mr. John Schneider called me and said that he was with Publisher Clearing House and that I am a second place winner of $5.5 million. He gave me claim number of B24Green and said I would need that in order to claim my prize. I would also need to Western Union $400 to insure my prize. He wanted to come to my house to present the prize and said that he would be escorted by the police to ensure safe exchange of CASH. As soon as the CASH is exchanged I will be reimbursed the $400 of insurance. When I asked why I have to pay for my prize he said it was the governments policy to have insurance because prize winners and the people that find out about the winner are getting out of control. He asked if I was married, single or widowed; how old I am; and if I have a valid ID. I asked how I would know this is legitamate and he said he would give me a bank account number to which I could go to the bank and have the money directly transferred to my account, after he said they would come to my house and give me cash! The first number he called me from is 615-323-3064; when I call it back it says it's an invalid number. When I call back the 1-876-553-2861 number he simply answers "Hello?" He has been calling me for about two months now and in the past I have been hanging up on him. This time I played along and this is what I got. The same day, he called again, this time he was Peter Williams and I have now won $2.5 million. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!!!!
