I wouldn't have accepted the offer of $ 2.5 million and a Toyota Camry either!  If they call again, you should press for an upgrade in the type of vehicle they are awarding you!

Received a text message from this number claiming they are PCH and I won 2.5 million and a 2013 camry.  Pretty disappointed the majority of you won a fake 26 million and my fake money is only 2.5 million.  Cheap a***s lol.

Prank Call
Just received a call from 876-488-1331 @ 11:05am on January 23, 2014. I was unfamiliar with this area code, which I found out via this website, that it is Jamaica. (lol) What a complete joke with all of the attachments. However, I am bored and I wish they would call again.

I received a phone call on 20 Jan 2014 at 2:19 PM, my caller ID displayed the following Cell phone number and initials 876-488-1331 JM. This individual had a males voice with an accent that sounded Indian/Pakastani. This individual said he was from Publishers Clearing House (PCH) and I had won $26M and i needed to call him immediately to claim my prize. It sounded to good to be true; besides that, I've seen the commercials by (PCH),they come to your house and present the prize in the form a check. I never returned their call and they never called back, smells like a scam to me.

I got a secret number too - to collect my $500k. Like the man said, "you should be jumping for joy, mon". That was the first clue - other than I had not entered the PCH sweepstakes in the last ten years.

This a complete scam.  They claim to be from a legitimate company (PCH), but are from Jamaica.

A local TV station did an expose.

I feel sorry for them, and like everyone else here, I try to educate them about what is happening.  But I think if you spend a little time reviewing the lottery threads, you will see that our efforts are pretty fruitless.  The "winners" post incessantly, but few, if any, read the repeated warnings that they are posting in the midst of.

It is a very sad thing indeed that those least able to afford the impact of being scammed are also the ones most likely to be successfully targeted.  And I can't think of much that is more evil than preying on the hope of the desperate.

If by some chance you think my parody of a reply, in response to a parody of the scam, might influence someone to "believe", I think not.  It simply mirrors a thousand other posts much like it, and as I've said, these folks typically aren't reading the thread anyway.  If they were, they wouldn't be asking how to claim their money right next to multiple all caps "It is a scam and they are thieves" bulletins.

Forget the Camry and the paultry $26,000,000 prize from PCH, courtesy of the good folks at Jamaican Fantasies Very Ltd.  My new company is hereby offer you a ONE TRILLION DOLLAR prize!!!!  Not only that, but you can have ALL these vehicles instead of a Camry:

(1) Not just one, but a WHOLE FLEET of Boeing 787 Dreamliners, one for each day of the month, so you can travel around the world in the lap of luxury.  AND

(2) Once you get to where you want to go, imagine the fun the local residents will have fleeing for their lives as you drive around in you M-47 Patton Tank.  You'll be the talk (and the new ruler) of any town you go to, and get anything you want!  Guaranteed!  AND

(3) Not just one, but THREE Carnival Prize Cruise Ships -- the largest size ship able to pass through the Panama Canal. Each carries up to 2,680 passengers in 1,062 staterooms, so you can take all of your friends with you on your voyages.

Just imagine how winning all this AND a FULL TRILLION DOLLARS will impress your friends and influence people!  You will finally be able to go to the places where whatever it is that you are smoking is actually grown and buy a whole plantation of it for yourself.  Who knows?  With the M-47, you may just be able to occupy the plantation and take it over, declare independence, and name the plantation in your own name!

And all this is YOURS!  Just imagine how your friends and neighbors will be impressed when they see 31 Boeing Dreamliners, three Carnival Prize Cruise Ships, and an M-47 tank carving up -- er, driving down YOUR street and headed into YOUR driveway!!

All we need to do is collect the taxes on the Patton Tank in advance.  For this, we ask that you go down to your local WalMart store, obtain a Green Dot card with $385 deposited in it, and call us back at 1-876-fooled-U with all the information on the back of the Green Dot card.  See how easy that is?

Now go down and do it.  Right NOW.  Sell your house or your first born if you need the money.  Just make sure that you DO IT.  You have nothing to worry about.  We are a perfectly legitimate company because I am a man of God.  You can take that to the bank -- er, WalMart.  So you know everything that I say is truthful.  And, you read it on the Internet, so it MUST be true.

Since you can't even write proper English much less speak it, no one here believes your lying Jamaican  behind.  We all know it's a scam, even Publisher's Clearing House says it's a scam.

Better watch out, both the US and Jamaican authorities are working to arrest you and I just called my obeah man to put curse pon you.

Yes, I just received a call from Kingston Jamaica 876-488-1331 saying that he was Dave Sayer from PCH. I had a difficult time understanding his heavy accent. I've heard Dave Sayer, that wasn't him. His instructions were for me to go to CVS or Walmart and purchase a $4.99 Green Dot Money pack re-load scratch card and load it with $308.00 for the tax on my new 2013 Camry. Once the card is verified the 'guys' would show up at my house with $26 million check and my new car. He left a call back number to verify the card (the Jamaican number). Had I fallen for it my $308.00 would have been drained faster than I could have made the 1 mile drive back to Walmart to cash the card back in.
