Received several calls - finally answered - claiming I won $2 million in PowerBall. I keep up with my tickets - knew better. Caller wanted to verify my home address and information, which he had wrong and could have been guessing based on my phone number prefix. When he asked for my name, indicating he had no actual information about me, I politely told him this didn't sound right and hung up. Have the whole thing on my answering machine. This is definitely a scam.

I just received a call from a person claiming to be a Michael Anderson from Powerball informing me I had just one 2 million dollars and asking if I had been notified of this.  All he wanted was my name and address to start with.  I told him I was not interested in his "Scam" and hung up.  I sure wish there was a way to get these low lifes to stop contacting hard working people trying to scam them.

In the last 3 month's I have been called by these idiots at least a couple of dozen time's, I've lost count. Saying the same thin...won $2.5 million one time then just yesterday a free gas card good for one year. I guess they figured the with gas getting so high I might be more interested in that than the $2.5 million. I had to tell them I'm not interested 3 times before they stopped calling me back. Half the time I could barely understand them. If they are going to try to scam Americans, at least learn how to speak English. One time they called I could hear chickens in the background. Idiots. .:-)

My husband was on a call that I sounded fishy.  I pressed the speaker button to listen in.  It was a call from Mr. White who said that this call was recorded and taped by the FBI and that he was calling from Las Vegas.  I ran down to check our caller id and saw that the number was 876-588-5897 Jamaica was all that was listed next to the phone number.  Mr. White told us that we won a black convertible Mercedes Benz that will be delivered at 3:30pm tomorrow along with a check for $2 Million dollars and $500,000 in cash.  My husband had already provided our address so this is where they will come even though we asked them to deliver it publically at a nearby business.  Mr. White asked me if we had children and I said, no.  They want us to have two forms of id to accept these gifts.  They want their two armed guards to help us get the cash to our bank.  I want other people to know about this call in case they get one too.

In the past several days I have gotten numerous phone calls from these people saying that I had won 2.5 million dollars from first it was from Readers digest, sencond from Sweepstales Lottery. The first call I told them I knew this was a scam and I was going to report them and hung up. The next day the same called saying I had won the same amount from Sweepstakes Lottery. I decided to see what it was about and what they had to say. They said I had a check for 2.5 million dollars that would be delivered to me by UPS. They wanted me to verify my name and address,(which is public anyway so I did). Then they gave me the same number they were calling from and I was to call them back after I hung up. The ID on the number was JM Kingston. The caller said he was Michael Brown. Needless to say, I didn't call back. That afternoon they called again. I didn't answer the phone when I saw hwo it was. This morning they have started calling again. Anyone reading this, please do not call back and give them any other information. This is definitely a big scam to get money or your ID.

Prank Call
This is a scam claiming to be Publishers Clearing House with an award of $2.5 million. When you let them know you know it's a scam, they get verbally abusive.

I've gotten ENDLESS calls from these people! Their office is in Jamaica and they keep calling...at all hours of the night even after me and my fiance has told them to stop.

My fiance spoke to them and they started cursing at him! Absolutely ridiculous.

It's obviously a scam..they just kept saying I won money. My fiance has started pranking them every time they call....because it's THAT often.
