JAMAICAN LOTTERY SCAM ALERT!  DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER AS YOU WILL BE CHARGED A HEFTY PER MINUTE FEE, AND THEY WILL TRY TO CONVINCE YOU TO WIRE MONEY VIA WESTERN UNION TO A PERSON IN JAMAICA.

My mother got a call from a person who offered her a free Mercedes Benz if she just sent a "clearance" fee in the amount of $3899.05, which would be the Kentucky tax on the car.  Another time he called it the customs fee.  We looked online and found that the area code was a Jamaican number and that there were lots of scams offering money and cars.  We pressed *69 to get the phone number he called from.  He stated he was in the Carribean but he sounded like he was from India.  He said he was with Gold Rush International.
