They just called my wife, identifying themselves as "Mister Washington" (with a heavy asian accent).
Mostly the same as above. We'd "won" a bunch of money from Wal-Mart, and in 30 minutes a police officer, a lawyer, and a Brinks truck were going to show up at our house to deliver the cash.
All we had to do was fill out a SENDER form at Western Union for his attorney. . .
At that point I informed him I was recording the call (I ~love~ Google Voice), and he hung up. I should have let him go on to give me the full information about who I'm sending money to, but I just get so irritated at these kinda of people. . . :/

Just received a call from 876-561-1371 asking if I had shopped at Walmart in 2012. I replied with "No, I don't shop at Walmart" and he started listing off other popular locations. At this point I told him we weren't interested in buying anything and he hung up. Given the previous report, they're definitely fishing and using popular shopping locations. Stay away!

Received a call from 876-561-1371 telling me I had won $150,000 from a WalMart giveaway. wI would have to purchase a MoneyPak card for $62.00 and call him back when I received the card. I would have to provide him with the information on the back of the card. Once this was done, someone from the Better Business Bureau will show up with my $150,000 check. I asked him the number for the BBB where he was calling from and he gave me 876-848-2380. I did not get the MoneyPak card and told him when he called back for about the 6th time that I thought this was a scam.
