Said he was from Publishing Clearing House and have won a prize. He spoke with an accent I could not place. I told him I was not interested and to please remove me from their calling list, he then hung up on me so I am concluding this is a scam, obviously.

Got a call from this number. Couldn't understand the first words that came out of his mouth. Sounded like he was mumbling perhaps a person's name or who he worked for. Asked who he was looking for in which he replied with the same mumbling from when I picked up. Asked who he was looking for again and got him saying "hello?" before I just hung up on him. Googled this number and found this place.

Got a call today from this number from a man claiming to represent Publishers Clearing House; saying I had won a prize package of 1 million dollars or a car. His voice was kinda garbled as if computerized. He wanted to know if I would be home at a specific time today. Made me a little nervous so I hung up on him. I googled the number and found out it was from Jamaica. Obviously a big scam!

My husband and I both got separate phone calls today. Didn't answer, no voice mail left. Googled the number, likely a scam.

Received a call today from this number selling me Lottery chances. I immediately told him I wasn't interested and to take me off his list. His reply, "Go F...k Yourself." I haven't laughed so hard in days. Don't hang up too soon, you might miss his retort.

Got a call from this number today! They said I had won $5.3 million & a pearl white Mercedes. I would have to pay a government tax of $1, 800 in order to get it. I was to go yo WalMart & purchase 3 $600 prepaid cards then call him back. Played along and then brought my info. to the police dept. They made a report but ultimately told me to just not answer the phone! Wow! So glad to read these comments.
I pray no one falls for thix scam. What an a**!

The FTC may not have jurisdiction in Jamaica, but they are working with the Jamaican authorities in Project JOLT. Here's how to report these scammers:

Watch this guy have a bit of fun with a Jamaican scammer calling him:

I got a call (on my cell phone) from some guy trying to get me enrolled in a program where I can earn entries into the MegaMillions Lottery just by shopping! I was pissed for having my work interrupted with this call, and didn't let him finish his spiel, but I'm sure he was ultimately intending to get my credit card number (fat chance).
I contacted the CA state Lottery division to report the call, and I gave him the number. He said it was a Jamaican number, and it was indeed a scam.
If you're on the DNC list, don't bother reporting - the FTC has no jurisdiction over Jamaica, but you may want to report it to the Lottery commission.
