I got the exact call today.  Everything the same.  New 2014 Mercedes, $850,000, and Becky Jones would have the information on the car and money.  The driver called and said he was with Publishers Clearing House and was just 45 minutes away.  I was given the same package number of 440981 and instructed to call 876-576-6003 and ask for Extension 5 to speak with Andy Goldberg.  He too told me he was a true Christian, wouldn't waste his or my time if this was not legitimate.  He would stay on the phone with me while I drove to Dollar General (or Walgreens) to buy a card to insure release if funds.  I kept asking why I would have to buy this card, and was assured it was just to allow the driver to deliver the big prize.   I was to purchase a card for $350 and I told him I didn't want to do that.  He said, well, they could always just donate my prize to some organization.  I told him I would get back to him if I decided to purchase the card and hung up.  He also told me that I should accept this was something good happening to me today and he was my guardian angel.  Now am trying to find out how much my telephone charges are going to be for the calls and him keeping me on the line all this time.  Sigh............

At 11:03 am on 28 February 2014, I received a telephone call from a delivery driver for Publisher?s Clearing House that I had won and that he was about 45 minutes away.  He recited my name and asked if that was me.  Upon receiving my oral verification, he then needed me to call:  1-876-576-6003, extension 5, and ask for Albert Lopes for verification.  He also provided me with a control number of 440981 to be used for verification when I contacted Mr. Lopes.  When I asked if he knew where I lived, he provided me with my zip code and stated that he was only a short distance away and needed me to quickly contact Lopes for verification.  When I told him that I didn?t subscribe or send in anything for Publisher?s Clearing House, he stated that my name was provided by a random drawing.  I have caller ID and his number was blocked.  I did not contact Mr. Lopes at the 876 prefix, but instead went on to the Internet to check out this story.  I?m filing a complaint with the State Attorney General?s office and making the local telephone company aware of this call.

I just got a call from "Larry" @8765488067, he wants me to call "Michael" @ 8768942859,  which I repeatedly dyslexia'd the number as I was "writing" it down for about 5 minutes just for fun. I texted him some Rick Astley music videos and a few other jokes until I got bored with it. He was bumbaclot mad. =)

I also received a call from this number from Todd Anderson, the truck driver, who said I had won a Mercedes and a check through Publisher's Clearing House. I said that I had not entered. He said it was two years ago.  He said that I had won, and that he was 45 minutes away. I was to call the manager, Albert Lopez at 1-876-576-6003, ext 5. reference number 440-981. I immediately looked the number up here. I got the same caller a few moments later who started in on the same pitch. I told him that he had already contacted me, that I had looked it up, and it was a total scam. He hung up. The caller's number showed as 1 876 593 1258.

I dealt with a call from a person going by the name of Albert Lopez claiming to be with Publisher Clearing House from 1-876-576-6003 ext. 5 in regards to Reference #440981 attempting to say a prize of $850, 000 had been won along with a 2014 Mercedes and all taxes had been paid by the Bank of America. The call was made to an elderly family member of mine, who told him that he would have to talk with me to give her the prize. The family member gave him no information. I called Lopez at that number and he went as far as to say the car was already insured in the winners name. Lopez claimed the prize is being awarded from a 2010 Prize Entry. He knew the winners phone number and verified the address they lived in to me.  Lopez advised that Todd Anderson was the driver, Sheila Campbell was the presenter, and Becky Jones had the title to car. He initially said they would meet me there and follow me to the winners home. He listed like 5 stores and asked me to pick one, so I picked Walgreens. Lopez then instructed me that the winner will receive 1 years worth of free gasoline for the car. He continued that in order to collect the prize and to use as verification to receive the car that I would need to purchase a $350.00 gift card of some type and present the number for verification. Lopez kept me on the phone the entire time. I was sufficiently suspicious already and indicated to him as much and he told me how it was the winners lucky day, God had blessed the winner, etc. and not to worry that this was the real deal. I finally asked him for the corporate number to verify this and alleviate my concerns and he hung up. SCAM ALERT!!!!
