I received a call on my cell phone. It was marked as a private #. When I answered it I was told it was a driver from publishers clearing house and he was in a nearby town and that I had won money from Publishers clearing house. I first had to call the general manager "Joe Martin" and give him my package #. I asked the man if he even knew who he was calling and his response was I'm just the truck driver. It's a bunch of B.S. and all I can say is how did my personal cell phone # end up on this list!

got the exact same call, but he did know my name and I did enter PCH.  but when we confronted him with it being a Jamaica area code, he claimed it was a number in Washington D.C.  We told him if we really had won, to go ahead and send the driver to our house to bring it to me.  WAITING. :)

Do not call back area code 876 phone numbers. It's the Caribbean. You will get international long distance charges on your phone bill. Look them up first. Even then, don't call them back.

I got a call yesterday morning from an unknown number claiming to be a driver fron publishers clearing house and was in a nearby town with a cashier check to be delivered but I needed to call phone number 8765959213 first to claim my winnings and see how much I won. I never registered for PCH and he didnt know my name. I reported to my wireless carrier.  It us a scam

Called on my cellphone said I won a check of 850,000 dollars and a 2014 mercades benzs wanted me to drive to a Wal-Mart to a money gram center. Asked my name gave them a fake name and they said yes u have one!  Told them to F-off and get a job we are all hard worker for our money.

Got a call on my cell telling me I had won PCH and I needed to prepay my income taxes on the winnings.  When I told the person that was very nice but there was a slight problem.  I am a IRS Field Agent and it just doesn't work that way.  

Yes, very much so. This is NOT the real PCH, and ANYONE that says you won something (especially when you haven't signed up for it!) and then asks you to PAY for your prize first is just going to take your money and run. DO NOT fall for them, and please, do report them to your local LEA.

so this is a scam?

He just called our physicians office and wanted to speak to someone. Said his name was Mike Rogers from Publishers Clearing House and proceeded to tell the receptionist to go to our local Walmart and to pick up a card supposedly containing $850,000.00. He said she had an unclaimed cashiers check. This is such a scam.

A Mr. Mike Rodgers called to state that i had won a check but wanted me to wire money to him on a release card.
