Caller who identified himself as Robert Moore, said I won $2.5 million from Mega Million Lottery from a special drawing that pulled my phone number. Wanted personal information, refused to give.

Got a call from this number saying they where from publisher clearing house and I had won 2.5 million dollars, he asked me how I felt and I told him "skeptical" well, he went on and on with some numbers I had to write down, pkg code, security code, bar code, pin code...then, he could probably tell I was not totally buying it and he said, "as God as my witness I am an honest man", ha ha, I told him that was it, you lost me. It was kind of fun letting him go on but when I told him that I used to work for the Attorney General's office in the Consumer division and advised people not to fall for his scams, he hung up on me. The only problem with these people is that since they are calling from another country, there isn't anything we can do here. Just beware! If it sounds too good to be true, IT IS!!!

Sorry to hear you just gave away $900.00 But that money is gone all u can do now is contact the police in your area  n maybe they will contact the police in Louisiana. .Please warn others so they are NOT scammed

I have receive a phone call on 8/8/13, stating that i have won $500,000.00 by Publisher Clearing House. In order to claim my money i had to send them 500.00 by western union to Waree Sims whom located in Louisana. Second Robert Moore told me that it wasnt enough of money that i have sent the first time needed more. Than send it to Yanique Mitchell by Western Union to Jamaica of the amount of 400.00 in that would be all. Yes i  was a fool to send that money but not anymore. Robert Moore told me that he would send me my money back through Western Union 8:00 tonight.

Got the same call. The guy asked if I was familiar with the mega millions... I replied with " I'm familiar with the fact your a scam" and he hung up

G ot a call from Jamaica, man said he was from Megamillion Sweepstakes and Lottery.  He called from 876-590-1656.  Said I needed to call this number 876-407-1967 Ext 4 John Johnson.  Said I had won 2.5 mill and needed to call this number to be told what to do.  Said I was randomly selected.  Yeah right...

My husband got a call from this number (876-590-1656) today that said he needed to call this same number extension 2 and talk to Alexander White to get details on his $2.6 mega millions lotto winnings (which we did not participate in).  After the caller hung up he called back moments later to make sure that my Husband had called (which he did not).  My husband (knowing it was a scam) asked what if he did not want the money caller responded "donate it to charity, JUST call this number extension 2"

Got a call from this number. The woman said I won 2.6 million in a lottery (which I never bought a ticket for). Said that it was so lucky that our names were the same (her name supposedly was Chris Kristy). The name of the lottery was something like Baby Reba Lottery. Not sure what she said but her Jamaican accent was real clear. She asked if I had got the email in the last two weeks stating that I had won. I asked her which one since I get 2 or 3 of them per week. I told her that I was not interested in her scam and hung up.

Same here. Man from Jamaica said i won 2.5 million dollars and i needed to pay 375 dollars for a receipt.

Caller says his name is Robert Moore. Told me I needed to send $375 before I could receive 2.5 million. Call originated from Jamaica.

I contacted a victim today who had received numerous calls from this phone number. I even spoke to the suspect and told him to stop calling and he wouldn't stop. He wanted my victim to send money in order to collect 2.5 million dollars. We were able to call the phone company and block the number for now. Good luck people and don't send anyone any money.

Got a call from this number saying they where from publisher clearing house and I had won 2.5 million and a mercedes. I had to buy a green dot money card and load 375.00 for taxes on money and car. He said my name was picked because i had purchased something at walmart, cv pharmacy etc....  Definitely a scam
