That happened o me too.  Was on the phone along time, hoping it was true but trying to make sure not a scam. Lo and behold he  mention Wal-Mart and even card so I hung up.  What did you do?

We just received a telephone call from a man calling from 876.874.1454 saying we were to receive a certified check for $3,500,000.  He had a foreign accent, so could not understand everything he said.  I told him it was a sham and hung up on him.  I understand we are to report this.  Thank you.

Yep, called my elderly mother.  Same name.  Said they were Publishers Clearing House.  Luckily she told him she'd have to call me to check and be sure and a quick Google search later and here I am.  Can't we round up these scumbags and drop them on a deserted island or in the middle of some war-torn 3rd world country somewhere?

Some bum called to say I'd won $3,500,000.  I played games with him for about 10 minutes before he ever figured it out.  I ended with an expletive and then hung up.

I got a call saying I had won 3.5 million and a mercedes but I needed to pay $700 to have it delivered.

They called me too. Said his name was Floyd Logan. Said I needed to pay $700 to have it delivered.

called and said we had won 3.5 million dollars and a Mercede automobile.

Called me n left no message.
