Soon as I saw the number I ignored the call being as I NEVER EVER give out my phone number and it came up as Jamaica. I typed it in as I do any other oddball number and ended up here. It's a shame what the hell these creeps will do to find a sucker

Got a call on my cell phone (which is on the national do-not-call list) from 1-876-599-6800 from a Claire Temensky, saying she was calling from Grand Junction, CO, and telling me I (whoever I was - she didn't ask for my name) had won $850,000 and a BMW at the Mega-Million.  "For security purposes", I was supposed to call her back at that same number...

So I just received a call from this lady asking me who she was speaking with. I said who do you want to speak with? She was like well I need to know if you are the person I need to speak to.. and tried to go on and on about trying to get me to give her my information and my address. She said she would not be able to tell me anything until I gave her my address and she would come to speak to me in person. I said google the FTC.gov and she was like what is your name and give me your address, I hung up on her because I realized she was trying to keep me on the phone as long as she could. Needless to say now I have an international charge on my phone bill. SCAM for sure from Jamaica! The number is 876-599-6800. Do not answer this lady or give her any information and report!

I just got a call from "The Publishers Clearing House". The guy on the phone told me to call 876-599-8922 and speak with "Agent Malone". I called Agent Malone to be told that I needed to secure a Green Card from Wal-Mart in the amount of $2,005.00 as this would be the amount of tax I would have to pay for my $900,000.00 winnings. He asked that I stay on the line until I had traveled to the bank to procure my cash and then to Wal-Mart to purchase my card. I was then to go home, because they would be there in one hour and forty five minutes. The man said I was to recieve my check and then I would hand over the Green Card to cover the cost of taxes. My secretary figured it was a scan and I then hung up the phone.

Some guy picked up and said its busy call another number to get threw (1-876-378-8593). I asked what I did for this check and "agent" Malone said "you must of entered or i mean you entered some sort of application for bank of america than went on to say some kind of coupon and sent it in for $250,000". He said "go to western Union or K Mart which ever is closest and get the reciept. call me when you get in thier driveway and I will give you all the info you need, cause they dont need to know any of this info, call me back when your there." I told him " what reciept and why do i need it?" he kept saying " im trying to help you it a $99 reciept and when you pay it they will give you a reciept for proof which you will give the UPS Carrier for government proof that you paid." I told him " I am not getting this money so guess i dont win and you should call someone else" he says "well how much money do you have? Fine pay half" than says pay $65 and than says " go to town store and sell something they buy" I asked what town store was and his response was " I don't know but take and sell something there, when will you have money? You know what just call me back when you get the money"

This is clearly a scam. Do not believe anything they say. They are based in Jamaica and want you to pay money to get a cash winning. No reputable lottery does this.

Just got the same call ... Said the carrier was in the area and would be here within the hour to delivery our $250000.00 check from B.O.A. , But they needed me to go to western union and send them $200.00 for the processing fee. I asked again where he was calling from he stated Publishers Clearing House , I said then why the hell are u asking me for anything ... I said I am looking at your web-sight and it clearly states to never give out banking info or anything that has to do with money. That Publisher's Clearing house also just shows up to Surprise you. I also asked for his business license look real close to the license and phone # ok license #559 89 522  ok phone # 876-599-8922 a little close ... I then proceeded to just go off on this man and let him know exactly what I thought of him and his scam  so needless to say he hung up lmao Hope he dosent call back Cause I have a lot more to say ,....

Just got the same call as Liz, UPS has a certified piece of mail from Bank of America and I need to call agent Malone. Package will be delivered in 3 to 4 minutes then he corrected himself and said 30-40 minutes. Odd thing is he call my wife's phone just before mine. Hers is one number off from mine and one number before mine. They must just be going down the list looking for someone who will bite.

The number 876-599-8922 is very suspicious character. Also had 2 more #'s- 876-254-4700 and 876-849-9563. Told me they were on their way to my home to deliver a certified check from Bank of America. Became agitated when I questioned his carrier company ID as well.  This is DEFINITELY a SCAM !! Sure they were trying to get me to volunteer my home address/ or personal ID. Call Bank O A and they did not have any record of issuing any check to me.

this is the second part of a scam call.  The call to my cell phone came from a Jamaica number 876-365-7469.  The caller indicated I won a lot of money from publisher's clearing house because I paid my bills on time.  The number 876-599-8922 (also Jamaica area code), was that of "Agent Malone" who would verify that I indeed won all that money.  The caller indicated Malone was in Las Vegas.  I suspect that were I to call "Las Vegas" to the Jamaica origin phone number listed above,  the call to that number would cost alot of money to me.
