Sometimes I receive 30 to 40 calls from this (1-876-840-1420) number a day wanting me to send money. They even sent a check one time. Please STOP them.

They have called and begging for money, however the above didnt realize and sent the enitre life savings. elderly lady and her daughter..they were telling them they would get a Flat screen TV and a BMW

Basically I did the same as Terry above played along ....said they were not going to check my scratch off card number but as soon as it did not come up as a valid number delivery person could not give me confirmation for delivery and switched me right over to original publishers clearing house individual Marjorie Covington. Call out of Jamacia not from Indianapolis, IN as told. My daughter said I should have gave the card # 844 747 2855 7448 and if you look it up on your phone dial pad you'll see what it says...."This is b***s***" . Always be aware and if it sounds to good to be true it usually is!!!

Scammer claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House notifying of prizes. Said they were enroute to deliver a check, but needed me to purchase a prepaid debit card to cover shipping on a car. Called me back a short time later wanting the card number. Never purchased a card, just tried to play along in case this was local and see if anyone was dumb enough to show up. Turns out the number is apparently from Jamaica.
