If you get calls from anyone which you feel is a scam .tell them you have a bad connection call you back and give them your local police departmentsl  number.

876-849-7068 just called me twice. Both times, they didn't say anything, just sat for a few seconds and hung up. I have blocked the number and encourage everyone to do the same.

Man with poor speech and low tone has called twice this week (late Nov 2013) -- both times he said he's from Publisher's Clearinghouse and I told him to take my number off of his call list.  He continued to speak as I hung up.  called from 876-849-7068

I was scammed too. James Peterson called me with the same instructions. I was to call his supervisor frank White at 1-876-841-7578 and he told me he was from Publishers Clearing House and I had won $855,000 and a new car. Make a long story short with this stupid saga, he scammed $250.00 from me.I feel so dumb but they were very convincing and Frank White had me on my cell phone for over six hours. Please don't let these men do you the same way. IT IS A SCAM.

A new is calling now the number is876-482-3933.  When I hung up on him he kept calling back and even sent me texts.  Going to look at reporting it to the FCC

I got a call from this number today, a heavily accented man on the phone telling me I won such-and-such prize. I asked him to repeat himself since I could only make out half of what he was saying. What I heard next was "Do you recall, Ma'am, submitting the Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes Form?" When I informed him I have never done so he hung up. The reverse phone lookup says he's in Jamaica, and this is no doubt a scam to get money. I'm on the do-not-call list, but apparently that doesn't work for anything outside the USA.
It looks like this is happening to a lot of people, I'm reporting the number to the FCC website. Good luck with this one.

I received two calls this morning from 876.409.9423 which appears to be a limited use cell phone from Jamaica. The first time the person said "good morning" and the call disconnected. The second call a few moments later was a different caller. He had a thick accent and was difficult for me to understand, but stated something about a package being delivered from UPS. I said "ok, do I need to do something, why are you calling?" He proceeded to hang up. It worries me that someone could be trying to get me to leave the house so as to come in and rob me...but it does not appear that this is the case in any of the afore mentioned situations. hmmmmm....

Got this call today, same as all the rest, wanted personal information, I hung up.

Too Late! Sorry and ashamed to say I DID get scammed. They got $2,000 from me and I also got a $236 phone bill to boot.  Police cant and wont do anything about it cause its out of their jurisdiction. Seems like a lost cause. Its no wonder these scammers continue to scam. They know there is NO WAY they will be caught. The have already scammed $21,000,000 to date. Sad world were living in.Everything you said is exactly what happened to me including the mans name.

they just call me, at the beginning the guy on the other side start with a clear voice but when I asked the name of the company where he was calling, he start to talk like gibberish, I was tempted to call back, but before do that I checked here (as I always do when I dont recognize one number, thanks god!!)

Just got a call from the number.  At first it was a bunch of chatter, and I could not understand very well and asked them to repeat.  Then they tried to say I won something from a Publisher's Clearing House drawing.  I've had recent problems with my number being called looking for a different person who apparently filled out a life insurance policy, so I asked him who he thought my name was and he couldn't answer, and when I persisted on him telling me my name he hung up.  What a waste of my time and minutes.  Hopefully these b*****ds are too broke to eat and starve to death.

I received a call from this number wuth a guy claiming that I had won a truck from the Publisher's Clearing house organization. He wanted me to take down a number so I could call his manager and verify. I told him that I was suspecious and then he started rambling a bunch of jibberish and eventually hung up.

Just received a call from this number telling me that I had won a prize from Publishers Clearing House.
He wanted me to call his supervisor David Malone at 876-408-5692 to verify my prize. I am going to report since he called my cell number.

this phone number called me, with the same scam. i looked it up, and it is supposed to be a cell phone number from Jamaca. recieved a call from the number 876-849-9563 and they guy wanted me to call number 876-408-5692 for verification of my prizes. he also somehow knew my address.

Just got this same call. Frank White. Made him  so mad he referred to me in a very ugly manner. Didn't like me tell him the call sounded like a scam.

Just got a call from 876-849-9563 and they told me I had won a Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes and asked if I was going to be home today to collect the check.  I told him I never entered anything and hung up.  But I thought I would return the favor so I called the number back and told him he had won the lottery and I needed to collect a little information from him.  Surprisingly, he hung up on me.

got calls 3/24 and 3/25 saying had won Publishers Clearing house...immediately told him I had not entered any such contest and hung up.

Received 3 consecutive calls from this # on Sat. 3-24-12 of which I only answered the first one.  I was told by the man about the same thing others here are reporting about a package to deliver because I had won something.  He did sound foreign and wanted to know if I would be home to receive the delivery.  I was not able to hear him well due to my location, but had enough sense not to not tell him I was out of town.  He asked me to call back when I could hear better and I agreed just to get him off my line.  I was sceptical and chose to ignore the next two calls he immediately placed after I hung up.  He just called again (3-26-12) as I am typing this. I am reporting this to US Cellular since he is calling my cell.

i got a phone call from a guy sayin i won so much money he told me to call 1-876-875-0208 and ask for agent malone. when i called the person picked up 'i asked to speak to agent malone' the guy that picked up changed his tone say this is agent malone.  i was put on hold i heard dogs barkin in the background now when we call back nobody will pick up!!! this is a scam!!!!
