"Hi, my name is Donnie Nelson and I work for American Cash Awards and you have randomly been picked and won 2.5 million dollars and a mecedez benz. How do you feel right now".

So by now you must have realized that this was a scam. What  do you do now, worry, give him the information, hangup?

Not me, since he is trying to scam me. I might as well have fun with it. Here's what I did.

Sir, can you hold on a minute (acting very polite and shuffling stuff on my desk). I make him wait 3 minutes

Sir can you repeat your name and companies name slowly and clearly? He gives the info again and is agitated

Sir, this is Special Agent Jones and you have called me on a secure line, you are currently being recorded for vioce recognition and your line is being traced back to Kingston, Jamacia as we speak. Please hold on. At that time I act like I'm on another phone coordinating a plan with some government office.

Sir, are you still there? "F*** you you mother f****r" was his reply and then he hung up.

It was a scam.  Picked once, now they keep calling on weekends and weekdays. Phone calls have been less frequent, but this has been occurring since late August and it's mid-October now.
