got 2 calls from this number saying i had won 955 thousand dollars to call 876-862-4578 ,and ask for agent malone , he said there would be 2 state marshalls and a man from the irs at our house in 30 min. but had to go to wallmart get a money order for tha 1 percent taxes, 900 dollars and 99 cent. these people are idiots ,its sad they scam the elder.

This number called my dear Mother.  I pay for her to have a cell phone so I can contact her at any time to check on her.  My sweet, innocent Mother listened to a man talk to her about her winning Publishers Clearing House for over 45 minutes.  The way I found out about it is when I got my cell phone bill, it was over $200 and it has never been that high before!  Apparently this "call of good news" called from an international #, which charged my account by the minute.  Grrrrrrr!!!  Please make ALL people aware of these scammers, especially the elderly, which may be more vulnerable to trusting them!

Said I'd won $950,000 and new Mercedes from Publishers Clearing House. Said I was to call Frank Faulkner at PCH at 876-875-0208 for details. Said he was a UPS driver who would be delivering my cash prize and Mercedes within 1 hr. and 45 min. Called back within 10 min. to ask if I had called old Frank yet. When I said no, but that I had called the police,. He yelled something and hung up.

I forgot to tell you  The call was from Jamaica

I got my call today  And he said he was Albert Johnson and I won $950.000 and a new Mercedes , They were one hour away but I needed to go to Walmart and get a "Green dot money pack paper scratch card" for $999.00 to pay the delivery fee.  They stayed on the line while i got in my car and drove not to walmart but the Police deptment.  Then it was really funny when the guy started cussing at the officer for asking questions.  Bottom line  Im no dummy and Im still driving my car and have my 999.00.

Got a call through what sounded like some voice altering device. (876) 862-4578. "The Delivery Team" from PCH was an 1 1/2 hrs from my house. When I began asking if the person knew my address since he was 1 1/2 hrs from delivery he referred me to his "manager" for verification. 1-876-875-0208 ext #5 "Albert Johnson". He stated he would need my name and full address to "locate my file" I asked him if he or the delievery person knew my address since I was told they were 1 1/2 hrs from my house....he hung up. Obviously a scam

I too got a one fake Publishers Clearing House..from the same man with the same name as above. I too am on having this number blocked

This scam is alive and well still.  Got my call today...on my prepaid cell phone!  No idea how they got my number, I don't publish it anywhere and only a handfull of people have my number...must be random dialing.  

Anyway, same speal, the caller was Frank Walker--a UPS driver.  He was one hour away and coming to deliver a $950,000 Publishers Clearing House check and just wanted to be sure I'd be home.  Then he gave my  another # 1-876-385-8588 to call and speak with Agent Malone at Ext. 5 to verify this was legitimate.

Want to alert people, too, that some people are actually recieving checks in the mail that your bank might actually take...then will bounce later on and hold you responsible for replacing any  used funds.  VERIFY with Publishers Clearing House BEFORE depositing any check you receive from them.  Their number (legit) is on their website...along with a warning about this scam.

Got twice same call today. Told him that if he called again, I will contact police.
I informed Verizon Wireless about this and asked them to block this number.

mob..be very careful when calling these FOOLS there could be international charges i read somewhere they they charge 20.00 to 50.00 a minute.

I received a call from this guy just now.

I could hardly understand him.  He told me I won a car and a cashier's check and asked me if I'll be home today to accept it.  I asked him who he was...and he said "you don't remember entering Publisher's Clearinghouse a few years ago"..of course I said no.  I then asked who he was...said something like Frank Walker and reiterated UPS would be dropping off a check and that I won a car.  Really made no sense whatsoever.  I then asked him if he even knew who I was, and he hung up.  I'm very tempted to call back and give him hell, however, I'm wondering if he would then see my name/State on Caller ID??

called them back asking for a customer service number and the guy gave me the run around, and then gave me the number 8764335161 as the number after much prodding from me. hung up and called the REAL PCH 1-800-645-9242 follow the promts to talk to the scam department and they'll take all the info you can gather from the scam guy, but they 1) never charge to win, 2) never contact winners by phone, mail or email, that's why people look surprised on the tv, and 3) they only operate in the US, and these numbers from jamaca. also try going to help.pch.com/consumer for more info.

they just called back again... I answered the phone and they asked if my husband had left yet. Starting to think I should call local police myself

we just got a call from this number twice today... said his name mr agent malone, he's at extention 5 at 876-433-5299, from publisher's clearing house cause my husband has won $955,000.00 and they would be at our house in the next hour with photographers, local law enforcement and ups, all we had to do was pay $450 for a green dot scratch card at "the walmart"

If dude really knew where we live he'd have known it would have taken an hour just to get to walmart.... and he called my husband's cell number... a number only given to business contacts so weird to the nth degree

Called this number after my wife got 4 harassing phone calls from the same number.. He stated the same thing that he was from Publisher's Clearing House and then the F bombs started and statements of him attacking me in ways only heard of in jail houses... YOu get the idea..  Not sure where this number is from but he is all over the place.. even left me voice mail..  Avoid this number..

Said hs was from Publisher's Clearing House. Said UPS would be delivering a check to my house today for $955.000....all I had to do was purchase some kind of blue stamp receipt at Wal-mart....in the form of a "money pact (inaudible) prepaid reloadable card". "Dude, I'm broke...if I won, bring me the check and I'll give you 1%". He said "Well how much money can you come up with now? Can you borrow some money, get a loan,  or go to the nearest pawn shop". WHAT???? DEFINITELY NOT Publisher's Clearing House!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just received a call from this number and got the same story...  He did know my name and city and state where i live...  I have received calls from the number in the past but didn't answer so he may have got my name from voice mail.  He has nothing to do with PCH just nasty talking.

This number showed up TWICE on my phone bill.  Absolutely NO idea of who this belongs to OR how it came to show up on my bill.
