My wife and I were out shopping and when we got home there was a message on our answering machine - a computer voice instructing us to call 1-876-882-0825 that there was a check for us... suspicious, I googled the 876 area code and found it was for Jamaica? Clearly this call is one of the scams I read about online. So take heed, if you get a call and, as the old saying goes, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! Whatever you do, DO NOT call this number under any circumstance.
