Caller identified self as UPS Directory and said he was Mr. James Taylor and that we had won $2.5 million.
It was an obvious fraud so we didn't let him talk further.

This caller called to announce that we have won $250,000.00 and a new car. All we have to do is wire $250 to a Michelle Green in an off shore bank in Jamaica, West Indies. The $250 is to pay 1% tax on the money we are winning. When asked why I would send US tax money to an off shore bank, the explaination was that the winnings are kept in an off shore account. When asked where they were calling from, they stated, L.A. I then asked why does the caller ID indentify the phone as a Jamaican prefix his answer was that it was their address. I said good-bye I am no longer interested and hung up. He continued to call 6 more times. If it is not a scam, I would be really surprised, but I believe it is especially when he said that I should not tell anyone about my winning because they would only want to harass me and borrow money.
