Last week I received an approval letter for a permanent loan modification from Bank of America. This was a call from Wild Lake, the credit entity referenced in the letter by BoA to confirm I had received the package and that I sent back my written acceptance of the offer. When I entered my loan number I was put through to a live person, who confirmed my information and thanked me for sending back my response.

Said from Bank of America with 800-69-6650. Called and they told me could be some third party offer.
I called the 877-200-5642 and no one will pick up unless you have a loan number. Weird.
They identify themselves as "WILDLAKE" whatever that is.

Received several calls from them-- no message. Even when I answered there was no one on the line. It is BOA making sure we received loan mod documents---- even though we're already approved by them for a short sale! Idiots don't even check their own files!
