Received a text message stating "8772023006@bankofamerica.com()Bank Of America(Card Blocked) Alert. For more information please call 1-877-202-3006."

I got the same thing earlier today. I called the number, and it didn't sound right, so I hung up. BofA usually sends me an e-mail, then leaves a message in online banking. So this just seemed strange. Glad my spidey sense was working.

same problem  we do not have a bk of A card so I knew it was a trap.  Call came on my cell  phone

I received a "text" message from (877) 202-3006 and said bank of america card was blocked, to call this number.  We do not have an account with Bank of America.

Got the same text message on my phone.  Went to my Bank of America branch and they verified all my cards and accounts were ok.  This is a scam.

just got the same message and was suspicous so hit google and found this site.  Thanks to all for the clue.

I got the same. Called the number and they wanted my card no., exp. date, and PIN. Reported it to B of A.

this is a HUGE SCAM. do not call them and give them any information. it is an automated system designed to capture your credit card information.

I got the same text message as above.  Called the number and got an all circuits are busy signal.  I figured something was up with BOA because I don't have a BOA card.
