The were soliciting for money and saying it was for the Highway patrol and i think he said Police also. They use men with voices that sound like they are with the law enforcemnet and when i told him i couldn't afford to help he kept pushing until he asked me if i was a senior citizen and said they would just have to pay $15.00 instead of the $35.00 that they are asking for. He wouldn't let me go so i just told him no.  He wasn't happy but not rude.  They probably take advantage of the elderly.  I have a Gift Givers' Guide book that lets me know what amount of money actually goes to these causes.

I am so sick of these annoying calls, no one is there, they just hang up on you. I am on the National DO NOT CALL registry. How can these #'s get away with it???

CALL THEM BACK AND COMPLAIN.  IT'S THE ONLY WAY TO GET THEIR ATTENTION.  IF NO ONE COMPLAINS, THEY WON'T FIX THE PROBLEM.  IF WE ALL DO, THEY'LL HAVE TO.  IT'S A WORTHY CHARITY, AND CALLING TO COMPLAIN DOES NOT MEAN YOU DON'T SUPPORT THE POLICE.  IT SIMPLY MEANS THEY DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT TO PESTER YOU WITH A FAULTY AUTOMATIC PHONE DIALER.

THEY'VE CALLED ME AS WELL.  CALL THEM BACK AND COMPLAIN.  IT'S THE ONLY WAY TO GET THEIR ATTENTION.

I would have to agree with some of the posts that this organization is extremely rude when you do actually take a call.

Received call at 10:50 this Saturday Morning.  I answered and they hung up.  I called back and got a message "call can't be completed as dialed".  I've receved several calls from them.

The caller asked me to give to the FLorida Police Benevolent Association. When I told him I really couldn't afford to give this year he said it was only $15. When he explained what the money went towards, I relented and agreed to pledge $15. He immediately asked if I wanted to bump the amount up to $20 right after I expressed my concern about not being able to afford to pledge this year. I then rescinded my pledge and told him it was because of his attitude/greediness that I would not give at all. He was very rude and cost that organization $15 and any future donations I would have made. I truly wish I could contact this organization to express my frustration. There are so many charities/associations that are thankful for WHATEVER amount you give. They will be my focus!

The caller: 877-206-6301, is the Florida Police Benevolent Association. Times past the caller ID used to ID them as such but they have gotten tricky not and gone to an 877 number. I have never encountered a more tenacious and annoying group of solicitors as this. They have hounded us for years.

When I answered the person on the line was speaking to another person about someone being dangerous and I asked them who are you speaking to? The man responded by using my name and saying now I am speaking with you. I immediately hung up the phone.

call 2 to 5 times daily and never leave a message

Have been getting called 4 to 5 times a week, no message or pick up. Anyone know who this is?

They call EVERY day.  There is never anyone on the line and they never leave a message.

I receive calls from ths number two or three times weekly. There is never anyone on the line. I have tried to return the call but receive a recorded message that the call can not be completed. Since it's an 800 service number I tried 800-206-6301 and get connected to a dish network recording.
