my text alerts stopped comming to my phone from facebook help!!!

I got the same message to call with a verification code to get a free $25.00 Wal mart card. I called several time, but the number kept ending with no answer. It said thanks for visiting. I don't know what it was all about.

I got a text message to my mobile, addressing by a different name:

"Hi SAMMI,
Thank you for visiting our site. Call 877-207-1605 to claim your free $25 Wal-Mart Gift Card voucher.
Your bonus code is 07e8f457."

Yes same here; I think they are going through E-mail . if you are the one of the son of a bit#@ doing this I hope you get cought and put under the jail

I've gotten numerous "spam" texts over the past month. I've replied stop to all of them, and this weekend was quiet, now I've gotten one this morning!
I, too, had $375 taken from my CC - but to XBoxLive - I don't even HAVE an xbox...
Best two things I can figure is...
#1 - Facebook. I don't remember what I did, but I changed something - and from then on I've been getting spam texts - I don't put my cell number in anywhere unless it's to a friend - except for facebook because it's integrated into my droid.
#2 - Shutterfly. I ordered a photobook from them, put in my CC info - next thing I know I have Chase calling me asking if I used my card @ XBoxLive!! (of course this was RIGHT BEFORE the holiday weekend, so I had to carry cash across state lines (which I HATE doing)...
Anyway - I don't know who they are - but my suspicions are the spam is coming from FB if you all have a FB account!

I got several txt msgs over the weekend and I replied stop to the first one and then I got another one. I kept relpying STOP and I havent received any in a while. Is anyone getting data charges for them?

I keep getting Text messages from these low life's.

I got a text from my deals2gomobil. I did not asked to be text anywhere.. I am scared my cell phone will have outrageous charges... I tried to send a message and it said not valid. I did text back stop. What is happening and how can I get them to stop

I did the same thing.  Got the not valid response.  So I did reply with STOP.  Received a text saying I was unsubscribed.  We'll see, I have a feeling they will now sell my number to a hundred other scammers.

I got this same message several times on this past Saturday and after doing a google search, found this site, and texted stop.  They said subscription has been canceled (?)  What the???  My bank card was charged a mysterious $374.00.  Have to go to the Credit Union and dispute this morning.  The number on my statement is from a Wall Street business, maybe magazines?  Not sure, but have to get to the bottom of this today!  HOW WOULD THEY HAVE GOTTEN MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER!

I got the same message but the phone number was 888-210-9015... another SPAM  to cell phones.  I NEVER sign up for any junk like this and still I get texts and calls... I thought it was illegal for these guys to SPAM cell phones.

same here... i hv bee getting lots of random texts and even worse... phone calls.  i think someone put my phone number online somewhere to frustrate me!  someone who doesn't like me apparently b/c i haven't signed up for anything.

I got the same text.  I have not published my cell phone number anywhere. I'm going to wait and see if I get another before doing anything.

Got same message. End of message says txt STOP 2unsub. I texted Stop and they "unsubscribed" me to;mydeals2go.mobi... I also sent some notes telling them what I thought of their mother but they were called "not valid" messages.

I haven't gone to a Sylvan link?? and the websites I have gone to I have not given any information especially not my mobile number. It is weird. I  called the number from my work phone and you can barely understand what they are saying and I kept asking what website and he avoided the question....just kept saying something about sending me a package which would include the Walmart gift card and a Visa gift card and if I didn't wish to continue or keep the program ??? then I lost what he was saying. I told him I wasn't paying for anything and No I didn't want anything I am not enrolling anything and you have yet to tell me what this company is or who you represent. They thanked me and said goodbye????? WEIRD !!

Got the same message as Jason.  The only site I can think of that may have collected this data from me would be Sylvan Learning Center... did anyone else do any research on Sylvan?
