Rude, called me back to harass me

These a*** holes called me about ten minutes ago. I know this because the number (877-210-0582) appeared on my Digitone log. Handy device. Works exactly as advertised. If you're not familiar with it then google it. $100 well spent & no I don't work for the company. Block individual numbers, entire area codes & individual exchanges within area codes. For instance I can't recall ever having received calls from the 877 or 855 area codes that were wanted so I blocked both area codes entirely. No ring, no nothing. Just a log entry. Makes me feel like I'm winning.

This is a phone number for a magazine subscription service.  It's not a scam, but they are annoyingly pushy.  Good luck navigating their automated cancellation service.  They offered me a discounted subscription to Esquire magazine while I was taking an unrelated survey, which I took them up on.  Aside from their pushiness, I don't really have any complaints about them.  I never received any phone calls from them.  The only reason I called to cancel my subscription was because I've become annoyed and disgusted with Esquire, not the subscription company.

just got a call, a man saying he was from globe magazine conferming my order, i told him i did not order globe. he had the name of my bank, and my checking acount no, except 2 numbers. he told me it just cleared the bank.i said that was impossible, and ask for the number of the check,, he gave me a check no. way higher than my ck. no. would be, than he gave me my account number except for the last 2 ditgets wanting for me to give them to him. we had a few more words and he hung up on me

Definitely scam.

... then without my husband saying a word or having a chance to hand me the phone, the REPRESENTATIVE started SCREAMING at my husband (I could hear EVERY WORD from across the room)

... Representative told my husband to SHUT UP, STOP SNICKERING, SHUT UP ... SHUT UP.
I have NEVER, will NEVER, receive a call like that again!

ooooh boy, trust me, it DEFINATELY provoked a response from my husband who is fresh off work in the oilfield & hasnt slept in 36 hours!

I get numerous calls from this number. Just now, a man came on the line and did a sing-song "HELLO!" followed by saying my spouse's first name over and over, like someone was on the line (I let the answering machine get it). I could hear "call center sounds" in the background.

These people called and said that they were calling to see if I was still receiving my Jane magazine and when I pointed out that Jane Magazine no longer exists (hasn't for years) he then said that they've gone digital and he said that I had a credit for a substantial amount from checks that I had written for my subscriptions and that he just wanted some account information so that he could process it correctly. I told him that I would not be giving any account information over the phone and if he wanted to make it right that he could just mail me a check. He got really mad and just said ok, bye. Total rip off!!

We will locate where they are at like we did with Christopher Dorner.

What they are doing is criminal and worthy of arrest. It's being worked on now.

I have filed a police report and there will be an arrest.  About 2 minutes into the call I began recording and what's on this tape is criminal. I'll send you the audio if you'd like to hear the voice and see if it's the same guy who called you.
In my case 2 weeks ago, a black guy called and was told to remove our name from their call list, then in violation of that law, a white guy called yesterday and made criminal threats that he was coming to my home to commit acts of violence, so I placed a loaded pistol at my desk in reach, but he never came by.. and my little friend "click" was waiting for him.. but he just never showed up.... easy for these rats to talk that behind a phone..

Synapse is the company who owns this number. Synapse Group, Inc. 225 High Ridge Road ? East Bldg     Stamford, CT 06905  1-877-815-8309  Bill Wade from their company is assisting in identifying the person on the recording that I have.  
Also, on my Time Warner i.d. inbound, the following accompanied the call: V22715443300278 Time Warner said they didn?t know what this I.D. means. Synapse says it got to be someone using an old phone number they still own and are having it display saying it?s not originating at their offices.  They are working on it as it misrepresent their company and they'll win some good $$$ by taking these cockroaches to court.

Now it?s just a matter of time until we locate him and the offices they?re ripping people off from.  They want to play "O'sama Bin Laden"...run and hide, but you and I friend have the Sheriff and FBI on our taxpayer side..and my little friend 'click'. so guess how this is going to wind up.... we're working on it NOW

These people are from a third party trying to get you to order star magazine. They will not stop calling, but they don't like it when I blow that whistle loud in their ears. If this happened to you, sorry, but get your company to stop calling me..................................

need to add the guy told me he was going to hang up again and call me tomorrow .  so what do you dohe's threating me .  how can I file an asalte charge ?

I told this guy ,I didn't want him to call me and to take me off his list .  He said i didn't give him time to say anthing,,he has had time to leave messages ,never did.     Really getting sick of this incompadent gov, we have that will not put a stop to these harssing calls.

They are some kind of magazine subscription rip off people.  They just don't stop.

11 calls in one month. I do not answer unidentified callers.  If someone wants to talk to me they should leave a message. Whatever they are selling I would NEVER buy it because of the harassment.

keeps calling the house- i answer, but no one ever even talks on the other end. annoying!!

Getting as many as four or five calls a day from this number & I don't know why.  No pending magazine accounts.  Was told by phone rep. with thick accent (Indian I assume) that they have no reason to call me & that they are experiencing an ongoing problem with an unknown party or parties spoofing their number.  This could be true in that I'm presently being harassed by a couple of collection agencies (Asset Acceptance & Portfolio Recovery) for credit card debt incurred by my 32 year old son who has not lived with us for nearly four years.  They claim they are investigating.  My Panasonic phone allows me to block up to thirty calls.  When it blocks a call I hear a single ring & the caller supposedly gets a busy signal.  Even though I'm able to block the majority of these calls it still pisses me off & I guess that is their intent.  I think I may go the Digitone route.

THEY CALL RELENTLESSLY!  I WILL NEVER SUBSCRIBE TO ANOTHER MAGAZINE AS A RESULT OF THIS.

Keep getting these calls. They don't leave messages. Tonight I picked up the phone and then hung up; they called right back, and I did it again; they did it again, and I left the phone off the hook for awhile.

called at least three times today regarding a subscription to Star magazine which I never heard of or subscribed to.  Told them twice I do not get this magazine and not to call again.  They called again, and now I have block their phone number.  This is a scam.

I answered, stayed on the line, and someone eventually said something.
They didn't say who they were and asked to talk to someone who used to live with us (YEARS ago). I said they don't live here anymore, can I take a message, and they said, she doesn't live there? OK, thank you.

Quick internet search shows the number is associated with "shady magazine practices."

These fools have called 5 times in one day

This number has called my house every evening sometimes several times in an evening, asked for me and when my husband said I was not home they were rude and hung up. When I answered they tried to sell me a magazine and when I would not bite they were very rude and hung up on me. I hope they do not call back. Obviously from these responses a complete scam!!

They called my house five times in a half hour and have called everyday for a week.
