I want them to stop calling me.

They call me daily.  I ALWAYS let it go to voice mail.  They NEVER leave a message.  I too am on the DNC list.

Finally answered (after a few calls from them)and they said they were with US Bank and pushing their accident insurance policy.  Told then "No", they said thanks, gave to a number to call if any questions, and hung up.  I had just received similar information in the mail last week about their policy also.

I have up to six messages on my answering machine daily from this number. Really bothers me that I'm on the 'do not call list' and they continue to call me.  Is that legal?

In the last four days I have received 13 calls from this number.  PLEASE STOP!!

I was getting hang ups from this number for weeks. They were about 1-2 a day while we are at work.

No message- I never answer a number i don't know. I screen everything.

So i go into my caller ID and there's a block feature. I did that last night and my caller ID showed a call from that number, every HALF HOUR from  
7:30 and the last one at 5:30.

I must have pissed it off... thank god it has bankers hours.

i read that the block feature on my phone broadcasts a busy signal to the blocked number, so maybe that's what made it FREAK.

anyways this is slime ball marketing, shady, illegal,and reaffirms the belief that anyone who cold calls you is a CREEP and i will never do business with creeps.

send me a freakin letter if it's so important.

I got 9 calls from this number yesterday.Three of those calls all came within the same hour.I found this website and found a number that I called and seemed to work (1-800-572-4453 . The recording said that they were AIG a part of Wells Fargo Insurance.I talked to someone and told them to put me on the do not call list.I told them my sob story of being harrassed by this number.Hopefully something will be done in the next little bit. Here's the number again 1-800-572-4453 if anyone cares to try it to save their sanity. The customer service agent was very nice, but kind of made it sound like if they don't get more calls to take care of the problem, they might not look into it. Oh, and I forgot to write down the number that they were calling from so make sure you tell them you're getting calls from 877-210-4453 so they know that it's them for sure.

i took your advice in another forum and had the same experience as you did.

if anyone is going to try this, just remember that you do not give them any info other than you're Phone number. That's it, they kept insisting on getting my full name and Address, don't do it.

i still hope they burn in hell...

what's the point of the do not call list if this is the type of HARASSMENT we must put up with 10x a day?

This number is ID Fraud, I worked at a bank long enough to know, and I have gotten the same calls, Wellsfargo is my bank and I called them today and they same DO NOT GIVE ANY INFO OVER THE PHONE!!!! If you bank with Wells then call them and left them know to put your number on a do not call list.

number calls me 5-6 times a day! one time left a message.. sounded like a man eating something crunchy for 15 min. but he never said anything.. weird! anyway i do have wells fargo so after reading all your posts about the number i will answer and realy play a game with them! ha ha ha

Tired of these people calling and not saying anything-it is driving me nuts!

Called at 8:40 PM 9/18/08.  I picked up the phone but no one answered then the line just went dead.  Is it some kind of prank call or thieves checking if people are home or not so they can break in?  I called that number back and it said "the toll free number you're calling has been disconnected".

They call all the time and leave no message.  I am on the do not call list.
Can I block their number?

We keep getting calls from this number.  We don't answer any "toll free calls".  They never leave a message.

They called me 11 times!  Yes, 11.  I didn't answer.  When I tried to call them  back, the number was disconnected.  I finally decided to answer the call.  When I picked up the phone, I didn't say anything.  Eventually, they hung up.  Then they called back and I did the same thing, didn't speak.  They stopped calling me for a couple of hours and started calling again.  I never said a word but I am highly annoyed with them calling me.  They call early in the morning and late at night too.  They've even called me on the weekends 3 or 4 times a day.  I'm filing a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry!

I got a call from this number today, no message left, and the redial reached a message machine saying the number was disconnected

Caller was from Citi-Bank. Trying to sell mortgage insurance.
If you do business with them they have the right to call you

After weeks of calls from them with no message left, I finally decided to answer and find out who they were.  The representative told me she was calling from Huntington, West Virginia, for Global Contact Services (GCS) of Mount Hope, West Virginia.  Their client is "National Union Fire Insurance of Pittsburgh" (though the rep said they were actually located in New York).  Wells Fargo (who I have a checking accout with) had given my information to either GCS or National Union.

The rep and her supervisor said they were unaware that their caller ID number 877-210-4453 was not a working number.  They did give me a working number to call for complaints: 800-572-5848.

I have no idea who this is.  They clled twice today and left no message.

I live in Oak Hill, WV and used to work for GCS. They DO NOT try to give away
'free" trips to Florida EVER. So that must be a different company that is calling you. GCS makes calls on behalf of Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and many other banks. Your banks are GIVING (not selling) your names and numbers to Global so that they can make more money if we can convince you to buy their insurance. Don't blame the people calling your for what's going on, is their job and you giving them a hard time doesn't make their job any easier. I will admit that occasionally you can get a CMR who's a pain in the a**, but that's usually not the case. Imagine how they must feel gettin cursed at by you a**holes all day long. Answer the phone when they call and tell them to put you on the DO NOT CALL LIST. Okay, you say you're already on the list? You're probably not on Global's list. Read the fine print so you know how the s**t works people. Simply answer the phone, tell them to put you on the list and the calls will stop within a few days. And don't just answer the phone and scream not to call you anymore then slam the phone back down, cause they'll put your name back on the redial list just to piss you off. :) Happy answering folks.

Bloody scammer telemarketer. Tried telling me that my wife won a trip to Florida. Then wanted credit card info. Claimed they were affiliated with Universal. Finally had to hang up after they tried for 10 minutes to get the expiry dates for credit cards.

Called saying that I won a trip to Florida, 7 days, 6 nights, 20 minute call, had the wife's birthdate,etc. I played with them waiting for them to ask for the credit card number which they did. They try to get you to confirm that your credit card is a certain number of digits and the first number that it starts with.
This is simple credit card fraud people, when I told them that I wanted their information so that I could call them back, and that I was in law enforcement the conversation ended pretty quick.
The sad thing is that people fall for this, anyone calling you out of the blue and asking for your credit card  # should be a clue, but unfortunately alot of people find out the hard way.

You can try reporting it to your local police, if they get enough of the similar complaints they will investigate, as it is a criminal offence.

Theyve been calling my mother too. Im sixteen and now and then they keep calling and calling. Someone from Washington Mutual. I had no idea what they wanted, but my mom figured it was a fake call, until one day she picked up. I hope they never call back again because they got annoying as hell.

Called 12/1,  12/3,  12/8,  12/9,  12/10 x2, and 12/11.
i answered on 12/10. didn't say anything and it sounded like it hung up.
I answered on 12/11 and it hung up again...  

I wonder if it hangs up when line is answered?

Who is this?  I get calls from this number a lot, usually in the early mornng.  I am on the do not call list.  When I pick up the phone no one is there.

They have been calling for a while now, specially in the mornings, since my young kids are watching tv at that time I been able to see the number on the caller id on the tv screen, so I haven't been answering anymore. The few times that I answered the phone was a recording message for some kind of "warranty on my car", even that they didn't specify what car.

I have gotten calls from them even on my skype number.  there is never a message left.  if I can block it, I will!!!
