This is NOT the true American Heart Association that tries to prevent heart disease and related problems.  This is a bunch of scammers who have adopted a similar name in order to dupe honest Americans who actually want to help find a cure for disease into contributing hard-earned dollars that will never go to any sort of research or programs of any benefit other than to the criminals behind these calls.  It does not matter if you are on the do-not-call list.... these criminals will call you and will try to convince you that they are following up on a promise your spouse, or someone else in your household made to help them.  Do NOT give them any personal information and ABOVE ALL do not give them any credit card info, encourage a meeting with them or send them any cash.   This is NOT THE REAL DEAL.... just a bunch of two-bit hucksters who are trying to scam you out of your money for their own personal gain.  This is not the last call you will receive from these scum.  They are continuously changing and adopting new numbers so even if you block this number they will call you again from another 866 or 877 number - two they are fond of calling from are 877-353-1611 and 866-619-5010.  DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!!

They never leave a message so I called the number back.  It is the American Heart Association and their annual campaign.

Nuisance call, several times daily.

The phone rang but no one answered.  They did this twice this evening.  I don't like this and want it stopped.  Thanks.

Getting tired of charity and scams on 800 numbers - so I'll pickup and wait for an automated message before hanging up after a few seconds. No one answered within a few seconds - called ID said "NOT PROVIDED".

I just called them to complain that they hang up when I answer. The girl was very nice and stated I was the 3rd complaint she had and that she was reporting it to ..... She guessed there was something wrong with the call center. I then asked to be on the do not call list and she verified my #.

I get a call every few days from this number. They never leave a message. The "Robo-caller" (or person) hangs up before my outgoing message even gets halfway through. I'm going to start logging the calls, in case I have to file with the FCC.

I have received 2 calls from them today.  When answering machine picks up, no answer.  I called American Heart last night and they said they would have them quit calling, but it may take time.  How much time.  The calls are a real nuisance.  Sometimes it is a different number, but checks out for American Heart.

Yesterday I rec'd a phone call from the American Heart Assoc. I told them then that we can no longer help them out to remove our name from their listing.  So again, I rec'd another call.  Do they get it?

Clever. Caller ID is "NOT PROVIDED," which to me means "NO TIME TO ANSWER, SORRY."

Keep getting calls throughout the day every day from this number. Need to stop this intrusion.

They called at 10:22 a.m. on Monday.  Nobody at the other end when I answered the phone.

They call frequently...I answer, no one on line...bunch of A holes

also got a call from 888-355-7209- a neighbor said it was also the American Heart Assoc.
Why don't they leave a message??  They are non-profit charity but should alway identify themselves.

When this number calls, we do not answer.  They do not leave a message.  Very annoying.  Caller ID says "TOLL FREE CALL."  Others, on this list and elsewhere, have said it is the American Heart Association.   They called this evening at about 7:40 pm.

This call came on Sunday afternoon at 5:35 p.m. Hang ups with message machine. It could be the American Heart Association as I see in other complaints. They have call me 4 days in a row already with different numbers. I keep telling them I am not interested but so persistent.

The American Heart Association will add your telephone number to their "Do Not Call" list if you just ask them to do so. You can email them at review.personal.info@heart.org. Give your name and telephone number. That is all they need. If you ask them to please escalate it to a manager they will do that too. They are really good that way.

Get this number every day, dont answer,  they call early mornings and on Sunday.  Sometimes close to 9 at night.  Wow, they truly are persistant as this has went on for months.  Sometimnes only two rings and I get fed up enough to answer no one there.  Come on isnt there an easier way to get these callers to stop calling.  I have numbers blocked but when they use so many different numbers I cant block them all.
