Got a automated call from this number asking for a location of an exwife of 20+ years ago.  This exwife has never been at this Idaho number or my home there. . . . . also to my knowledge my exwife has never been in the State of Arizona, however I also got a call on my number there asking for a location.  The fact is my exwife has never been in my home in Washington State either, however I believe that she is hiding in that area.  As I have explained to all 'collectors' (this number) a hundred or more times - I don't track this lady and have stated many many times that continued contacts of this nature (especially when my new wife answers) is 'HARASSMENT'.  It would seem to me that after divorcing someone 20+ years ago, commercial businesses wouldn't feel the need to look to me for help.

Wonder why nobody wants to deal with them... no common flipping sense.  Hope they find this "Scott" they're looking for before I start letting my 2 year old answer their calls.  That may help.  *ssholes.

Multiple, daily phone calls to my work number for a former co-worker previously assigned to the same number.  Messages first stated if I was not the person they were looking for to hang up.  More recent messages said to call them back to have the number removed from their list.  They are debt collectors.  I called today and spoke with a relatively polite woman who assured me that my number would be removed within 48 hours.

We got this call today, looking for my husband's ex-wife's Father who has never lived here.  What a crock.  Will be blocking THAT number.

I've been getting calls from this number as well. They are looking for my ex husband and his wife who live over a thousand miles away and have never lived, or been, here. The recording said it was "Kerrie Smith". When I called them back and asked for Kerrie Smith, I was informed that Kerrie Smith is just their automated name. They answered the phone "ELCCA". They say that my name and information is linked to him and always will be. I continue to ask for my number to be removed from their database; they promise they will, but I continue to receive calls. Last week, they even called for the ex husband's wife's mother. Now how is it possible that I am "linked" to her???
When I asked this morning what ELCCA is, I was only told that it "handles private matters".

I called it back some call center  he said his name is James and  how can I assist  you  no message on my phone at all

This woman called my job and was already defensive.  She said that a file with my name attached to it had crossed her desk and she had my name, address, phone number and social security number. She stated the last four of my social and asked me to verify. I replied, "What is this in regards to because you are calling my job and that is not okay." She repeated, verbatim, what she had said before. I then asked, "Did you hear what I said?" To which she replied, "Did you hear what "I" said?" I then said, "Don't call my job again." and hung up.

Same here.......Paid a bill that they are saying is not paid...have all my cancelled checks and still they harass me...am about to sue them fiercely...anyone want to join me in a law suit!

Yes, same thing for me.  I tried calling them back, and they were extremely rude.

This is the 3rd such phone call from this phony company asking for information on a family member that does not live here. The recorded message I rec'd left an Americanized name of Carey Smith and the above number. When I called the number the person answering had an Indian accent and  they won't give out any info as to why they want info on a particular person. . Even if it was legit I wouldn't give out any info.

Who are they?? I got a call that said they were trying to collect a debt. WTF?? Would like to know who is harassing me about something I have no debt for?

Left nothing on the answering machine.

Got a phone call asking to help locate someone I used to know 10 years ago. Didn't leave a company name just a message to return the call.

This number is harassing us for SOMEONE ELSE.  The message says that if we are not the person being sought, to hang up.  We've received over 20 calls from this number.  It's bloody ridiculous to be harassed by one of these bully collectors trying to locate someone other than ourselves.
