They've called all day despite being notified they've got the wrong number.  When I phoned back I got a "Thank you for calling 'Customer Care' " message. But it doesn't say who's customer care.

I don't understand what someone can benefit from repeatedly calling two to three times a day.
It is very annoying getting these calls on my business number. I think I will do what a friend of
mine did, get a boat horn and each time they call blast it into their ear, that is if they are listening.
I have been getting these calls from that same number 2-3 times a day.

keep getting calls.  They say sorry I have the wrong Number.  A  white mans voice.  Very clear American English no accent.  They they hang up.  Been getting calls.  I call that number 8772173418 recorded voice says Customer cares have document Number ready.  I wait and wait .  I gave up.
Next time I will hag up first.

They call my cell phone and it shows as a forwarded call.  Called them back today because I am fed up and got a recording for customer care. Please hold for next representative. Listened to bad music for five minutes before giving up and hanging up.

When you answer, there is a pause, then sonorous male voice says, "I'm sorry, I have the wrong number." - then hangs up.  Mysterious.  Or maybe not.  About 2 weeks later, I received a collection notice for money I did not owe - a debt that had been discharged through bankruptcy.  Perhaps someone has purchased a basket of old debt for pennies on the dollar, wants to cash in, but is being cautious because they're not quite sure what they have.  Badgering someone over discharged debt is a crime...

get calls from this number  but they hang up before i can answer or just just get a recorded message that this is customer care and put you on hold--who s this?

Can somebody tell me who this is calling me.

OK so yesterday on the way to work I heard this offer for a weight loss product and called, I got tired of waiting for someone to answer and hung up-they called me back today four times. Same deal as all of you but I got through to someone...when I told them the situation the rep. got snippy and said she apologized but its an auto dialer. Nonetheless she said she would remove me from the list...it can take up to 7 days. The number that called me...877-220-1906 the number I called to talk to someone...877-217-3418

I have received calls from this number every day for weeks.  Until today I never answered and a message was never left.  Annoyed by the constant calling, I answered the phone today.  After a few seconds of silence a man said "Oh, sorry I have the wrong number," and immediately hung up.  I called back and got an automated message saying that "a representative" (no company name mentioned) had contacted me because I had called them.  They list a number you can call back.  I called it and waited on hold for five + minutes before hanging up.  

If this is a scam of some kind, what information are they trying to obtain?  Or is the purpose just to annoy people?  If that's the case, mission accomplished.

pause, then male voice says "I'm sorry, I have the wrong number".  hangs up
