Called when anwsered they hung up..I called back no one would pick up.

I get a call from from this number daily to my NET 10 cell phone.

Some bottom of the bottle collection agency called "Oxford Management". Buys up any
old debt - or alleged debt - or id theft debt - and tries to collect.

I have been getting frequent calls from Oxford Management over the course of several months.
Most of the time there is silence on the other end.  Sometimes there is a recorded message about "an extremely important personal business matter".  A few times I heard an actual voice.  One time the voice asked for someone whose name I don't know.  Other times I have requested to have my name removed from their list, but they get rude and hang up.

How do I get the calls to stop?

They called me and I found out it was Oxford management. it was for my niece ( which they had called ealier from FL ) so I told them that the frequncy of their calls and hangs are concidered harrasment and that the person in florida spoke very rude to me saying my niecce " will get hers in the end" I also informed that that is aq violation of federal and state laws concerning debt collecting ( read them tonight before call the 800 # ) They in turn said they will be looking into that preson ( her name was Michelle so if she talks to you that way you have proff of her rudeness ) and my number is comming off of their list and their automated list . (which is what the 800 # is )

Ah joy ... more debt-collecting idiots calling.  No message.

Thing is, I owe nobody and my credit is spotless all the way back.
I think somebody uses my name and number to get low-limit cards -
but that's all the info they have. Naturally the lenders can't be bothered
to check it out, it's a numbers thing for  them, y-percent real people
offset x-percent fakes ... so what do they care about impostors ?

IMHO it's professional malpractice, a lot like a doctor cutting off the
wrong leg because he was in too much of a hurry to check the medical
forms. "Gee sorry" don't cover it. Class-actions against such lenders may
be the only useful approach since the govt doesn't seem to care either.

Anyway, I'll only pay my own debts, so they're SOL - and I have a
proper lawyer to back that up if need be.

This cok suker keeps calling.  No message left.  StOP CalLiNG

They called under the id # 772-882-3200 Fort Pierce FL   I have a son in the ARMY, so I answered it.  A Ms Hickman asked for someone that doesn't live here and I said I would take a message, she said that she's with OXFORD and gave me the 877 number to have them call back.  Tricked into answering my phone because I thought it was an ARMY BASE.  They shouldn't be able to do this.

I'm receiving calls from this number on a nightly basis usually after 8:00 p.m. The one time I spoke to a person he hung up when I asked why I was receiving these annoying calls.

Called me several times will not leave message. Called them back goes to a voicemail box.

Claims they are a collection agency. I left message to inform them I have no delinquent debt.

They have called me many time and their automated system asks me to press 1 to talk with a representitve.  I do so and 90% of the time they just hang up. Twice someone did come on the line and asked me how they could help me. When I said "well, you called me", they hung up. Once I talked to someone but they told me for privacy reasons they couldn't tell me why they had called me! I have an extremely good credit rating and am never late on any payment of any kind.  I'd be glad to talk to them and clear it up but they won't talk with me.   This is harrassment! My telephone company, AT&T, says they can't block toll free numbers for me. Being a former engineering manager for MCI and other long distance carriers, I know that they can block them - they just won't due to the revenues these charlitins and others like them produce for AT&T.

They call every 2 hours, don't leave voicemail and no ones on the line when answered.

Calls and lets voicemail pick up but doesn't leave a message.
Also, when I answer it they won't talk.
