They called my work asking to speak to someone in the HR/Payroll Dept.  Didn't say who they were calling for, but they wanted to verify employment.  Since I am the bookkeeper and do the HR & payroll, I stated that I was the person they needed to speak to.  They wanted to know if I wanted a name, social security number or birth date to look them up.  I told them to give me the name.  They stated my name.  I told them that the person they were looking for left the company effective last Friday.  

I do not answer 877 calls.
But this one had called-id as "THE BEER STORE".
And I don't even drink.

Receiving robo calls on my cell phone.  How do I know?
They left a message yesterday that was obviously the tail end of a message that was rude.  Not even sure who the call was supposed to be for.

I also received 4 calls on my cell and 5 at my job today from the same ph# to tell  me they have a lawsuit against me. I told them to do not call me at my job and to remove it from their list cuz its prohibided and he told me that Im wrong, that they are entitle to call me at my job.
I will do my research because to my understanding they cant call you at your job. He even asked for my supervisor and told me I will be served and needed to speak with my boss. Of course I didnt transfered the call, but this people are crazy. ARE THEY ENTITLE TO CALL MY JOB AND MY CELL SO MANY TIME IN THE SAME DAY???

Not sure what they are selling, what they want or WHY they keep calling me. I too am listed on the DNC list...... Once I answered.....and they didn't answer back.  I dont have time for crap scam calls.......so then I decided I wasn't going to answer anymore. They had the NERVE to call me on SUNDAY morning last week at 8:42 A.M.  They then left a generic voicemail for me to call them IMMEDIATELY!!! I am a canadian citizen  there are telemarketing laws........and I do not have to do ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  so BUG OFF!

I'm within a nose hair of grabbing my phone cord and jerking it right out of the wall!!
I basically only use my landline to call out for a pizza and receive calls from relatives since they've had my home # for years! So, with that said, I'm not sure why I still have a landline anymore in the 1st place. If these people would like to knock on my front door, I'll deal with them appropriately. But you know that won't happen!
It seems like now that if my phone rings, there's only about a 1 in 10 chance that it's going to be a friend or relative. All of the other calls are from companies that I never asked to call me in the first place. The do not call Registry is a big joke. They know it, I know it, and we know it!

Have one of those little rape whistles or high pitched dog whistle by your phone....really BLAST it in their ear....works for me !  Small air horn you can buy at Walmart for $5.00 is well worth the investment, too.  They're in the greeting card section.

They call me several times a day, every day.  I'm getting as many as ten calls a day.  Caller ID has them as toll-free number or unknown name.  This has been going on for a while now.  I tried not picking up the phone - but they just keep calling.  I've tried picking it up to hang up on them.  I've tried taking my phone off the hook after they call me.  Today I called them twice.  When I asked the name of the company they sped it right pass me - long company name.  I asked them to slow down and speak so I can UNDERSTAND what they are saying.  The lady did same thing and I stopped her and said:  WHO ARE YOU?  Then I complained about the thirty calls a day and said if they ever called me again somebody better be dead.
A few hours later they called me twice - phone rang once - I picked it up - they hung up.  Now what in the blue blazes is the purpose of calling somebody so you can hang up on them?  I called them back.  Still I don't understand what they are saying - what they are doing is intentionally not giving me the company name.  He asked me for my name and I said no and told him to STOP CALLING ME!!!  And I hung up on them.
It's really unfair that these people are allowed to harass you.  I don't have an account with allied or citibank or capital one -this seems to be the company others have identified here.  And I will not do business with them in the future and will tell others to do the same.

These calls are bugs on the outside of my window screen through which pierce their pricks, stingers, probiscusses, and natural intent only a product in an aerosol can would remedy.

I get several phone calls from number every day. Getting a little of it .

Good advice. It can be done on a Tracfone too, save the number to a contact, add that contact to an unused group, reject all calls from that group. A little awkward but effective.

UK citizen in the US for 2 days, bought a pre-pay phone with cash and received a call from the above number within 24hrs, hung up as I hadn't given the number to anyone but family and don't have a Capital One account. Glad I checked here also. Hope the scam isn't catching too many people.

These systematic robo calls from 877-218-3219 are fighting their victims in warfare taken to another level as 877-218-3219 is a serial predator.

Not saying anything is the only option victims have.  Abusors never become exhausted.  Modern isms are not by any means over.  Systematic robo calls coming from program predators like 877-218-3219 are diabolical.  The fact 877-218-3219 is unidentified indicates a corrupt source, as 877-218-3219 is a corrupt source.

Just call them back and don't say anything. Maybe they'll get tired of calling.

Reported to FCC, this company is in violation of several laws, report them and stop this harrassment.

How 911 happened occurred by clandestine operative like 877-218-3219 with its furtive debt collection pretext, or any other pretext, bombarding its psychological warfare victims as if they are in the downwind from Chernobyl or in Auschwitz where victims have no recourse but hysterical response.

These robo calls are world class subversive force using pretext as reason for bombarding its attack field.

We have been rejecting calls from this number for over a month now.  I just called the customer service number that another person recommended.  The guy said that we need to call ther No Hassle Service Department at 888-817-2970.  Of course their hours are 8-5 so we will have to try calling that number tomorrow.
