I don't owe ANYONE ANYTHING, yet I'm still getting calls from jackazzes like this.  They are calling for a person that hasn't had this phone number in over 2 years.  I've told them this, yet these skanks still keep calling.  Now it's just to be as nasty as possible IF I bother to answer the phone.  Thank God for caller ID.

This number calls me at work constantly.  They never leave a message, and I work in a dead zone for my cell phone - it'll ring, but I get no reception.  I have never had them leave a message, either.

For those of you with Qwest as your phone provider all you have to do is answer, hang up, pick up the phone and press *57.  There will be a charge on you phone for this service.  You need to answer them and hang up three times and press *57 after each call.  These will help Qwest to trace the call and you will be directed to their phone center.  You can leave any complaints with them.  In Colorado they are supposed to call between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.  Legally they can only call three times in a day.  Good luck.

Keeps calling for someone with the same name, but do not know that person. After 20 or 30 calls I use every foul, degrading, ethnic word I know. The calls eventaully stopped.

I suggest you do the same.

These pieces of low life sh.t need to hung by their necks. Low life trailer trash punks have nothing else to do with their stupid smelly lives, but call and hang up on people. Tell me, " what do you guys make an hour calling people & hanging up?" ...A $1  an hour?" These people need to be reported. They are disgusting pieces of trash. They need to stop calling and hanging up. They are a nuisance to me & everyone else that they bother. They are scums of the earth.

Phone calls are simple to make.  Too hard to send a letter.  Even easier if we would all just pay our bills and get rid of these harrassing phone calls.  What i do not get is how can they get by with constantly calling.  If i can get ahold of them I am going to pay them off then if they call me again I am going to report them.

I suggest mailing them a letter telling them that they've repeatedly contacted you about a debt that's not yours and that they are to consider your letter as legal notice that they are to cease all communication with you. I'd also inform them that if they fail to heed your notice, you'll promptly pursue sanctions against them in federal court.  This is important: take your letter to the post office and mail it via certified mail with a return receipt request. (I think that costs about $5 or so.)  If these crooks contact you more than once after receiving your certified letter, then you have standing to sue them in federal court for damages.

Calls all the time at the early morning hours it's quite ridiculous because I don't have anything that would cause debt collectors to contact me..... It's complete BS !!!!! I don't care what job you have but for someone to call my cell number is a bunch of crap!!!! I answer and no one answers it's always silent

Dude called, my caller ID said 9:01. I answered, he said Hello? I replied, I already said that, who is this?

Then he asked for a friend who used to live here. I said, you know it's after 9pm, right? Stupid said, 'Yeah, because you waited two minutes to answer the damn phone!' Uh, no. I answered on the first ring.

Calls all the time on my AT&T GoPhone, when I answer they just hang up and don't say anything!  Finally decided to look up their number as it cost me money everytime they call.

They have calledme numerous times and just hang up!

Calls constantly, several times per hour, every day, and hangs up before we finish answering the phone. Called back, they said they can't do anything because there is no reference number because no one actually says something on the other side.
