They said they sent me a letter concerning credit matters but I don't know. Nothing I've ever heard of. They did tell me they knew I had gotten divorced last year I thought that was strange... How or why would they say this?

I have had my land line for like 15 years now They have called my LANDLINE for up to a year and a half maybe 2 years now asking for LESLIE TAYLOR every god damn fricken time. I have told them multiple times I AM NOT LESLIE TAYLOR NOR DO I KNOW HER and can you please remove me from your call list because this number is on the FEDERAL DO NOT CALL LIST.  They call from like 7:45pm to 9:30 pm and i have even let them know that THEY ARE IN VIOLATION OF THE LAW BECAUSE THEY ARE CALLLING AFTER 8PM AND BECAUSE THEY WOULD HANG UP AFTER LETTING MY PHONE RING ONLY TWICE AND BECAUSE THEY AT ONE POINT DID NOT HAVE AN OPERATOR ON THE LINE WHEN I PICKED UP THE PHONE AND THAT I WILL BE REPORTING THEM.  YA i threatened to and did report them but they didnt give a damn about it! they keep calling me. FOR THE LAST TIME I KNOW MY LAST NAME IS TAYLOR BUT I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA AND HAVE NO IDEA WHO THE CRAP YOU ARE CALLING ME ABOUT... SO STOP CALLING MY PHONE!!!!!!!

I have been receiving calls from this # every other day, never leave a message and always around the same time. they usually call 2 times a day. i have never called them back. because i don't know who they are and whome they are looking for. i am not pass due with anyone. at least i know my phone works. and a debit collection company can not leave messages. they must speak with the peson whome they are looking for.  otherwise they are breaking the law.

I've been receiving these calls nearly every day on my work phone. They definitely have the wrong number, because they usually ask for some person I've never heard of. I told them multiple times they have the wrong number and they stopped calling for a few months but they're back at it again. This time I usually answer the phone to silence. No idea how they got my work number, but I have nothing to do with them.

In some states it's illegal to just record someone.  I live in Illinois, and if you are going to record someone you have to tell them up front, otherwise it is not admissible as evidence and does you no good.

Banks get money for free from the fed to lend to you at obscene rates.

These clowns call both home & cell - no idea how they got cell but never ever answer when they call.  Yes, they are debt collectors and yes I do owe some money but you're not going to get blood out of a turnip.....know they're only "doing their job" but can't even begin to imagine a more horrific job...unless you're psycho and just totally love screwing people any way you can.

These people call on a regular basis - my home and cell #.  Yes, I do owe money but you can get blood out of a turnip!  When/if I get turned back around financially I'll be contacting creditors and making payments but until then.....DO NOT WASTE MY TIME with jack*** phone messages, at least on home #, with something to effect "because you're still listening/on line you much be JOE BLOW..." - no, I just dont' want to "go there" with jack*** credit collectors who just so don't get it!

Called me, confirmed my name, then asked for the last four of my social. Hung up on them. Reporting to BBB.

Some Good advice - look at the caller ID, if you don't recognize the name or number Don't answer the call. sooner or later they'll get tired and it will stop, but remember even those unemployeed uneducated rascals need a job - at least until they burn-out!

They called and asked me if I know a Kathleen somethingorother and when I said No you must have the wrong number the guy said How come?  What a stupid company this is!

They keep calling and won't tell me what it is about. I am on the No call list, but it doesn't work too well/

Immidiately file a repot with the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm.  You can file one for calls coming to your Cell phone or your land line.  You can also call the FCC at 1-800-225-5322 to report the caller.  The more complaints filled against a certain number the more high profile it becomes.

Called on behalf of Citi.  I am in bankruptcy and these calls are not supposed to happen.  I told the caller that I had filed bankruptcy and that I wanted to give him the case number.  He refused to take it and insisted on my giving him personal information before he would talk to me.  He called me, but wanted me to prove to him that I was "me".  Odder yet that he was completely uninterested in the bankruptcy data.

They called me today at around 8:30 AM. I didnt pick up and they didnt leave a mesage.

When I picked up, there was a Womans voice that repeatedly said.......
"Please Hold For An Important MNessage".
So for the Hell of it, I did hold on for about 2 minutes.
The message repeated itself 56 times and no one ever came on the line.
This is a new number given to us when we moved to the area last November.
We get Collection Calls, for the Previous Number Holder, about 3X a week.
In fact, they use Multiple Numbers (they show up in the CID).
If I ever DO get someone live, I tell them theres no one here by that name and I get the "Obligitory"..."Oh I'm sorry, we'll takre you off the List".
Then they call back in a few days.

Your message makes no sense at all, WTF. Thank gawd I am over chat lines, for real, you make no sense at all!

multiple calls from this number over month of July 2008 and now going into August.  Since I don't pick up, guess I won't know who it is.

They call me asking for my neighbor while my phone is unlisted.

I just moved and got new phone number and now this number calls me. I have no idea who they are or who they are looking for

Ignore them!!!  Get your self a caller ID or a new Answer machine with Call Blocking!  Telemarketing they are looking to make a buck at your expense!

I have had over 40 conversations with this company and I let them know every time they call that I am not the person they are looking for. This company becomes aggressive and abusive on the phone. I have recorded 27 of the conversations with this company and I am working on a website that will have these recordings posted for all to hear what these people do. The site will launch in a couple of days, I will update and post link here when I have completed the site.

They keep calling here for someone who doesn't live here nor has never lived here My phone number is on the do not call list and has been for years. They did leave a message and it went something like this.  "this message is for   " " if you are not " " please hang up now.  By listening to this message you acknowledge that you are " ".  Ok so what's wrong with this????  They shouldn't have automated messages to leave on just anyones phone.

They call every other week, I don't usually pick up. Sometimes they leave a message that says if you are not Maxima Tie hang up. They called agin today when I stayed on the line to yell at them I got two recording the last one was the one that said to hang up if you are not Maxima Tie.

This is their contact info. Lets start calling them every hour on their 800 numbers. Just think of the fun we could have if we all tied up their lines.
