I can't believe anyone would pay any attention to National Attorneys. They have been turned over to state attorney generals offices and the FTC so many times I figured everyone knew they were scam artists by now.

Received a call from National saying I was an emergency contact for my daughter and that she needed to call them ASAP. He identified the company as the Tarrant County Pretrial Services Division and gave a case number beginning with a "CR". He also said they were trying to avoid serving her at home or work. Being an attorney myself, I called Tarrant County and verified that there were not civil or criminal matter is pending. Nor is a warrant. This company is holding themselves out to be a law firm. I am appalled at how they can just lie. They wanted payment today of course or they will file a suit. I told my daughter not to do anything because it costs way more than the $400 that they are trying to collect from over 3 years ago. This company needs to be burned down to the ground! just got a call from national is all it said had to do with a payday loan 4 and a half years ago told me i was getting check fraud charges against me and if i could come up with 340 by 12 45 today they would drop the 3 charges off  and that they were taking me to court called the court house in the county and they had no cases against me the number that called was 1 866 815 0762

Well a few days ago I looked at my bank account online and noticed that 66.42 was taken out for no apparent reason and my bank told me that I would have to wait till it was done processing before they could do anything and I just found out that they took it out of my bank account without my authorization. So I gave that number a call and left a message just awhile ago.

Don't bother responding to NAS. It is nothing but a bunch of low-class bill collectors trying to scare people by pretending to be Attorneys. A real lawyer would not contact a debtor via texting. They collect payday loans and other uncollectible debt. Put them on your blocked list

I just got a text message (what lawyer would send a text message) to call them (Different number by the way 213.245.4774)  

The one thing that sets this off for me that it is complete and total FRAUD, is that I have only had this phone for maybe a month.  I may call them just to tell them to leave me alone; but yeah...this is total FRAUD from these jerks.  

Check the laws in your state concerning pay-day loans.  What they are doing is against in the law in my state (Oklahoma) so I am not worried.  Besides which pay-day loans are unsecured, which means they cannot take you to court over it.  Read up on the law in your state...knowledge is power

This dude is wrong.  The law covering pay-day loans states that they cannot sue you in court.  They don't have a legal means of enforcing anything they claim.  Besides, the law also states that they cannot "threaten" you over the phone.  Right there they are breaking the law....

I am a Banker and had a client come in to tell me that they received a call from National Attorney's Office 1-877-224-5572 ext 271 from Rick Thompson asking for money on a check dated 2011. My client did not write them a check in 2011 his first check to Check-N-Go was 2012. Rick Thompson said he was an Attorney. After searching the phone number I found this page and wanted to let everyone know that Rick Thompson is calling people for money and using X271, saying he is an attorney when he is nothing more than a debit collector.

I also received a call from 855-906-5626, National Attorneys Office in regards to a Checkngo payday loan. Called back and spoke with a Paul Simpson, ext 272. He told me that all he was trying to do was inform me of upcoming legal action that will be taken against me by Checkngo. Really??? I called ChecknGo and they had said that my account had been transferred to National Attorneys Collection Agency! I dont think the Plaintiff is Checkngo. I am going to send them a cease and decisit letter, if I can figure out how to get their address. I am pretty sure their next move is to threaten litigation, after giving me an option to settle.

Claiming to be an Attorney Services office stating there was a case against me. This is a scam! Shut these people down.

I received a text message from a 818-484-1512 number.....The message said "It is URGENT for you to call National Attorney Service regarding a very sensitive matter. 1-877-224-5572 EXT 219 case#_ _ _ _ _ _ _."
This is clearly a scam, a real person would be calling you in the event you owed money don't you think.  Don't bite the bait people it's a scam.

No one can garnish your wages without written notice.

I received a txt from these guys today, i spoke w/leslie ext 274 i tried to make payment arrangements w/her but she wantd more than i could afford and would not take what i was offering, i then informed her that the call was being recorded she got furious and told me that i didnt'  have her permission to record the call,  i told her that idaho is a one party state and only one party of the call had to give permission and i give my permission, she hung up on me. She then called my employer (which is the number i called her from) and asked them where she could send "possible" garnishment papers. Come on Leslie, get it together; you either have garnishment papers or you don't either way I would be privy to that information because you would  have to serve me papers. My employer gave her the fax number to send the "possible" garnishment papers to and we still haven't received anything. When I spoke to this idiot Leslie; in March to make arrangements at that time, she told me I would have to take "Check Writing Classes" lol are you kidding me? Check writing classes huh? NO SUCH THING LESLIE! Had she just taken the arrangements that I offered in March then we would already have more than 30% of the debt paid off by now, but now Leslie sits at her desk, with 0% of the balance paid, trying to demand a payment plan that is not going to happen from me. Well Leslie, I wish you all the best of luck, fact of the matter is I will be going to part time at my job and going to school full time and you will have NOTHING to garnish assuming you even get to that point.

You will not recieve anything from them.  I have talked to them and it is a collection service for another company,  or a payday loan company.  The ext they tell me to call is 877-224-5572 ext 289.  A bunch of bull

I too have recieved calls and textes from this number,  it is definately not any Attorneys office.  it is a collection service.  If it was a real attorneys office they would have no problem in giving you the case number and a written document.

Total scam and a new low for collection agencies....  Honestly what can they really do to anyone... The economy sucks and they harrass people.. a judge may slap someones wrist but if you no longer have a job... Come on really... Do not be afraid... Not one states county jails in the US has room for someone who supposedly wrote a bad check.. its no different then charging on a credit card and you cant pay it back due to losing a job or other unfortunate circumstances....

Are you sure that's how it happened? Something missing......I am in the process of contacting FTC. Atty general, chamber of commerce, and found these people' address--but its probably a virtual office.

i got a call from them today . i have no  job .i have no money. i told them this. they said they dont case , well i then said,  if someone loans me the money can  i pay them with that money, he said yes, so i said o.k.. can you  loan me the money, he then hang up the phone, ha ha ha

i got a call from them today saying they were lawyers .i have no money so i told them i lose my  job  there for i have no money  so i cannot give them  anything  so stop calling .you cant get blood out of a rock  can you .i then  asked  him if i can   get  a loan from  someone , can i pay  him with that money he said  yes , so i  said ok  can  i get a  loan from  you , and then he got very upset , i told him then  if he cannot loan me the  money . he should stop calling

Just report them to the FTC and State Attorney Generals office. You will never hear from them again. Trust me.

I received a text message from these yahoos, dated March 20, 2012, which effectively charged me 30 minutes against my cell account just to open and read their stinky text message. It was addressed to someone I have never heard of and for whom I've never received any other calls. In capital letters it advised me this was an URGENT matter and that I was directed to call National Attorney Service at 1-877-224-5572 x246 on a "sensitive matter" with regard to Case #2463168. It was scary! I didn't realize until later that the odd name they used at the beginning of the text was actually the person they intended to reach and not the person I was to call. In any case, when I did call, I attempted to get through to the extension number but was yelled at by their representative and rudely accused of "giving" her "attitude!" I advised her that they had no right to be texting me, that I had no business with them and that my number is listed on the "Do not call" registry. Then, the individual, who spoke with an accent that was difficult to understand, continued to berate me and, between broken words, threaten me, so I told her to shove it and hung up. I then texted a reply to their message reiterating that they had no business contacting me (I don't have any unpaid debt) and that my number is listed on the "Do Not Call" registry. Incidentally, the reply text also deducted 30 minutes from my cell plan, so these jerks have taken me for a total of one hour of cell time and aggravation as I'm at home sick Unbelievable!  I then filed a complaint with the FTC. I will also look into filing a complaint with my WA State Attorney General's Office.

Hello, I am recieving harrassing calls from number above stating I will be pkup from the sheirfs at my home due to I owe a loan with cash advance usa, I told the girl whom she pick up the phone, she stated that I owe this loan, I explain t her I have never apply to this company, to provide me with verificaton of routing number, and bank name where the money was deposit, cuz I apply with two
loans and 1 is paid in full, and the other one is still current which they r taking my payment from my
checking acct, to pay the loan, she keeps calling me and sending text that the police will be picking me up bla, bla, when I told her to prove to me she has the correct information she keeps hankging up on me, she says it's from national attorney services, I keep calling the number with the ext, 225
Number 1877-2245572 I leave msgs, to return my call to discuss the issue, and they will not return my calll they keep texting telling me it's a seriouse urgen matter, I need this company to provide me with all information routing number bank name where the funds went to because I have never apply to this loan company, they say they send me letters to my address which i have not recieve none,

I just received a TEXT MESSAGE from 213-245 -5060 saying:

I do have an outstanding payday loan, but nothing major and after all of these postings, I am scared to call them for information.

I got a text message saying "URGENT to call National Attorney service on a sensitive matter. Ext. 228. I call them and they trasfer me to someone but not at the desk. Then I call again to question the call and they hang up.

Got a text from 213-245-5060 to call National Attorney Service on a sensitive matter, and the rest was in spanish. Stating to call 1-877-224-5572 ext 219. I didn't know what this was for so I did a reverse look up of the 213 number on www.whitepages.com. The owner came up from Irvin California, but no info on the 1800 number.
