The messages you left on our voicemail was cryptic and immediately you ask for very personal information yet you do not provide any information on who you are. The representative said you are a "personal business company". The representative then said for "your personal business". I think I'd know if I did any business with the CBE.
I suggested you send any information in writing via the US Mail and I'd have my attorney review it. In this day and age you should know better than to ask for personal information over the phone without providing information etc.

Scott, Maybe if your receiving department was better, they would know when they got their equipment back.  I have been getting calls for years about boxes that I sent back when I moved.  You should check your company before you start posting foul messages on a board because obviously you don't know what you are talking about.  I hope your company goes under just because of idiots like you!!!!!!!

Direct tv will come and install the equipment but then after your contract is expired or cancelled they refuse to come get the equipment and demand it be mailed. I called and wanted the local Direct TV service to come pick up the box, remotes, etc and they refused but then charged me for the equipment as non-returned. All of it is sitting in the garage and I refuse to pay the bill. direct TV customer service and support is also the poorest and worst I've ever dealt with & attitudes like Scott's prove it.

Call DirecTV and let them know Scott has been sending you unsolicited pictures of his tiny p***s.

They have literally called me for years. Ive only spoke to them once where they wouldnt verify any info or tell me anything until I gave my Last 4 of my social, address and last name. I called them a scam and hung up. They called back in an attempt to convince me otherwise. I got this free app called Mr. Number that just hangs up on them. They still call but, it doesnt bother me anymore. Its a scam, just ignore them.

You can sit down with your parents and write them a cease & desist letter.  You can find the instructions and templates of what to do under what you need to know here. Make sure its sent via certified or return receipt US mail.  They are in violation and more so by harassing a minor!   Then if it continues, you can seek a FDCPA/TCPA attorney.

This number has called me 5 times in the past week and I have answered, and nobody says anything they just hang up. I have called back one time and they answered but hesitated before hanging up. I am a minor and have no debt..?

When you says $29.99 a month it shouldn't come to actually be $74.50. I dropped Direct tv after I paid the same bill 3 times because direct tv hires incompetent morons like scott. I have recently been receiving calls from this phone number.  At first I ignored it because I do not recognize the number. They continued so I would answer saying nothing, hoping to find out who it was, but no one would speak.  I get this call several times a day.  I have my outstanding bills on a pay schedule.  I would really love to know who this is.  I wonder if I have won a lottery and should answer it? lol  Not.

If it is so important to contact me, then have a live operator on the line. I am not returning the phone call from an automated system. Sure I have debt. Buy, I have arrangements in place and I DO NOT have Direct TV.

they call numerous times and is on my caller ID...non stop. I have talked to them before and they are looking for a Jeff, kelley, and always have a different name but  not mine. I have told them to remove my number from their  Database completely....as when I have reminded them that these people do live here nor do I know them and they have promised to take my number off their list.....they reply....I am not the same person you told before. I keep reporting them....but does not seem to matter. Who ever you are at this number.......I hope you get caught for harrassing phone calls, and get sued.....I am documenting....and it sure is a full time job documenting your harrassing phone calls......but i am determined

Had been receiving calls regularly from CBE Group about 2 years ago, in which they claimed that they were attempting to collect a debt on behalf of DirectTV.  I have never had DirectTV.  In addition, I called DirectTV's customer service department and they checked all of their databases and do not have any record of my name, phone number, or past addresses.  

Therefore, DirectTV confirmed to me that CBE Group's claim was likely fraudulent and I should disregard it.

CBE Group has begun calling again, but this is most definitely a non-existent debt that they are calling me about.  I have simply informed them that they are trying to reach the wrong person and they apologized and said that they would take me off of their list (we'll see about that...)

While I do have some outstanding debts, and it's not unusual for me to get calls from a collection agency, this number keeps calling every day but not ever leaving a voicemail. No way am I going to answer it, so they can just go f*ck themselves. It is kind of irritating that they call every day though. Am hoping it will eventually stop if I never answer.

Every time I answer a call from this number no one ever says anything. It is becoming quite aggravating. I do not have unlimited minutes on my phone and it needs to STOP!

This number has been calling every other day for the past 2 weeks between the tines of 3pm and 8pm. They never leave a message, so I don't know who they are other than what I've read here.

If this really is a debt collector representing DirecTV, then they need to stop calling me. I have no debt, unpaid bills, etc and I, nor anyone in my family have never used DirecTV. And I never will because of this and Scott's horrible representation of his company.

I put this number on my phone's blacklist, so every time they call now, it'll kill the call and make it sound as though the phone is no longer in service (thank you Android!). I still get alerts everytime they call though, so if they keep calling, I'll report them to the FCC and/or police.

Folks I've been receiving the calls also, however in my case there is no Erica...They obviously have caller I.D. after I answered their call, and refused to identify myself (I mean you called me...shouldn't you know who I am) they hung up. I called them right back, and without any info on my part they said my name. So, these are preditor types who probably purchase debt info albeit false, or incorrect to try and get you to pay. DO NOT MAKE ANY PAYMENTS!!!!! Once you do, you have validated their claim, and therefore now do owe them money. I recommend that you block their number. Or at the very least have a good time pissing them off.....I did. Engage them in a long conversation, mislead them, contradict yourself, speak in a secondary language, and finally tell them you are of Native American decent, and are not bound by the same legalities as typical US citizens.....awww man, it was hilarious, I should've taped it.

hey Scott, I have DirecTV and have automated payments scheduled. I am obviously NOT BEHIND IN ANY PAYMENTS. So change your attitude and FAST. This is nothing but robo-calling, and it's ILLEGAL.

Yeah, well, here's the thing...

I've never once bought anything from Best Buy that requires a subscription nor have I ever conducted business with DirecTV in my entire life.

Debt collector's like CBE Group cold call residents when they think they have enough information to merit a phone call or letter. I bought a house three years ago that had DirecTV with the previous homeowner and I've since contacted DirecTV and had them remove the dish and take me off their contact/mailing list. I don't have any outstanding debt with DirecTV yet I consistently get calls from CBE Group because they think the previous homeowner still occupies my house, regardless of how many times I've told them they no longer live there.

So no, your theory of "read the agreement" and pony up any money owed doesn't fly with people like me who are harassed constantly because debt collectors can't be bothered to take an extra five minutes after a call and update their database or mailing list when told the person they are calling or mailing doesn't own the phone number or live at the residence anymore.

Received two calls from this number over the last month. I never answer calls I don't recognize the number to, so I let it go to voicemail but they never leave any voicemails. The above comments about this number belonging to the debt collection company "CBE Group" could possibly be true; I've had trouble with CBE in the past with them spamming me with phone calls from different numbers when I have no outstanding debt.
