It's verizon, they call 5 times a day every dau, and if your a minute late, they blow you up, and harass the s*** out of you... I get 5 text messages and 25+ call a week when were late paying the bill

It IS Verizon.  Are there seriously that many morons not paying their bills who are convinced this is some sort of government conspiracy?  Get a grip.

This number keeps calling me.  I don't have Verizon.  My wireless service is Sprint. They don't leave a message they just keep calling.   So annoying.

I was late paying my bill and they are also telling me it was Verizon.

I just spoke to Verizon and this is not an associated number....  It is a scam and why can't we locate and stop these people!!!

Everyone seem to be both right and wrong. Verizon gives a stipend to private companies if they get customers to pay their bill early/earlier or just pay it.

The numbers along with txt msgs from anything other than the KNOWN 900*** txt number or a caller ID identifying it as Verizon, you are dealing with a third party. This is why they need your info when you call.

Hmm, I get calls from this number as well, and it IS Verizon Wireless calling to bug me about paying my bill.  I am late on last month's bill, but this month's bill isn't due until 21 days from now.  As if the two calls from that number today weren't enough, they text me as well to agitate me that way.  I get it, Verizon.  I've been a customer of yours for 14 years.  How many months have I not paid my bill?  Zero.  Lay off already, you'll get your money.  Agitating me all day won't make me any happier a customer.

I get a call from this number every time I'm late making my cell phone payment.  I DO have Verizon.  Now whether some scammer has access to know when I'm late so they can use that as an excuse to call, I don't know.  When I figure out what the number is, I think, "oh yea, gotta pay that bill!", I pay it, and then the phone calls stop.  Sooo, I *think* it IS Verizon.

You are full of crap.  It's Verizon.  I called the number back.  They don't call unless you don't pay your bill.  My bank didn't transfer the money to them quick enough, so it was a little late.  I simply made the payment via bill pay through my bank a couple days earlier.  Problem solved.  No more issues.  So pay your bill dude.

Just had a nice call from these to me on a Skype number, interestingly they left a number to call back.

Strange though as i'm in the UK.. so go figure. Called the number back from a witheld skype number and it wouldn't connect me, saying i had to call back again.

That message just called again asking for immediate payment so I transfered to a Verizon rep & set up a payment date.

IT IS 100% VERIZON WIRELESS

P.S. The number that showed up and the number they left in their VM were not the same. Called from 877-226-7847. VM call back # 800-249-2462. It is Verizon and I am pretty late on my bill. I appreciate them warning me 1st opposed to just shutting me off. I have 4 phones on my plan so that would be $60 to reconnect them.

Yeah, I'm late on my bill and just got a the same recording call today from them. The status change on my account is probably from going to Paid in Full to Past Due to about to be Disconncted.

P.S. Love how EVERYTHING is a scam now. They are out there but so are legit debt collectors too.

Called with robo-message stating they have an "Important update" for "Michael Cruz" who doens't live @ my house.  They're not Verizon, and obviously it's some kind of scam.

This is not Verizon! I called them yesterday and was informed by Verizon that it is not them and they took a report to investigate

They keep calling telling me my son needs to call them within the next 24 hours and give his OLD phone number from a year ago. If it is Verizon why don't they call him on his new verizon number? It is in their files!

I can't believe I have even taken the time to read comments from people like you. You probably think they are aliens calling!  Most calls are not scams. You people are actually & truly paranoid. There is no scam from this number - it is Verizon using a caller service to remind people - actually in a thoughtful way - to pay your past due amount or lose your service. I am actually glad they call to remind me that I will lose my service if I don't return their call and make arrangements to pay.
All I can say to you "paranoids" is ignore the calls at your own peril.

It is Verizon for sure. I am behind on my bill and it is a automated voice message. Immediately after I didn't answer I got a text message from another number saying Verizon needs to speak with me within 24 hours. It is for sure legit because I am always behind on my bill. LOL!

They just called again and wouldn't answer. No message was left either.

It is most certainly a Verizon number you dumb dumb.  Call 611 from your cellular phone, and verify as such with the answering representative.  After she has had a good laugh at your expense, you will hear the truth.

It IS Verizon.  My account is new, and because of my stupidity, I missed my first payment.  I made the payment.  I just called Verizon via their customer service line, and they verified that the payment has been made to my account.

This number is Verizon. They call me quite frequently from this number, as I am usually late paying my bills.

Consider this; even if you don't have a Verizon account, they can get wrong numbers too, right?
