the voicemail said to call allied financial.  when she person answered she asked for my account # or social.  i don't know an account number (either with them or with GMAC, i don't have an account with either) and i'm not giving someone who called my phone a social.

Three Severals call in a weeks time . I tell yhese people to take num. off but still get called.What the hell !!

This number is constantly calling me looking for someone else. when i don't answer they do not leave a message but when i do i inform them they have the wrong number and they will get it taken care of. i am still constantly getting a minimum of 10 calls a day from them

The caller does not leave message or answer. I called the number and the electronic voice identified themselves as GMAC. They call all hours of day and night.

There are calling if you are past due on a payment on a loan. If its not you someone might have had ur number @ somepoint or put it down as a contact number

Call from GMAC.. not sure why?

I have received numerous phone calls from this number. I tried to call the number and there is a recording stating the number has been disconnected or no longer is in service. After many calls I finally answered the phone I talked to a person at this number in the past and they asked for my last 4 digits of my SS# and I hung up.

These people are not trying to help you!  They start calling before your due date has even arrived.  I have been going around and around with these people for 2 and 1/2 months.  I keep telling them that I am not behind and they miraculously find that I am not behind once they have raised my blood pressure.  They are blood sucking leaches.  Everyone I talk to appologizes after they look at my account.  I have told them I dont't want an appology I want you to quit calling me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  If my payment is late then call me. My payment is not due until 2/13/10 and they have already called me 3 times this morning beginning at 8:00 am.   And this company is not GMAC it is Ally.  GMAC is no more.  Most of the callers are from India and you cannot understand a word they say. Each person that myself or my husband talks to and they realize that our account is not past due tell us they will take our number off the call list.  That lasts about 3 days then they start calling again.  How is this saving any money by having a call center in another country when they have no idea what is going on?  They are not saving me any money because they keep me or my husband on the phone at least 2 hours a week just trying to explain we are not past due.  We have always dealt with GMAC and this will be the last time!! I suggest the same for everyone else.

Sue for violation of the Fair Debt Collection Act.  Also, to all posters here - E-mail and/or write your complaints to Ally (formerly GMAC); complaining here won't do any good.

I am about a month behind on my car payment due to job issues, and have spoken with them on multiple occasions, I am attempting to make double payments every month to catch up and even though I have spoken with them, I still receive 7 to 8 calls a day from them...they always leave the same recorded voicemail and fill up my inbox. .....I will never again finance a vehicle with GMAC or ALLY...........

i have received two calls today.  no message left.   gmac has been purchased by ally bank if it is them? pain in the a**

I just got 2 call in a row from this number.. No message was left. So I called it back.. Behold a person answered.. It is Ally.  First person hung up on me. I called back and told them I was going to keep on calling them like they keep on calling me. I do not have a car loan.  They claim to  have removed my number.   we will see. I suggest everyone start calling them and overloading thier system. Start at 8 am and keep on going.. If a person answers ask them a dumb question like  "is it raining outside?"

I DON'T HAVE ACCOUNT WITH GMAC. THEY ARE LOOKING FOR GERAD SOMEBODY.GET RECORDINGS ALL DAY LONG . GOES TO VOICE MAIL AND FILLS IT.THEY CALL ME 6 TO 8 TIMES A DAY.

If everyone who gets foreign calls would demand to speak to someone in America, (you have to say IN America not just "an American") perhaps it would cost Ally so much they would decide to switch everything back to the USA.  If everyone in the nation would do that to all the companies who employ foreigners, maybe things would change.  If you ask, they have to switch you to the US.    I think if I can't understand what they're saying, there's little chance they understand me.
We get the same problem of calls without being late on payments.  If you live in the Southern States, Farm Bureau Bank is your best lender.

I am nineteen years old and dont even own my own vehicle! Or a GM! They call me multiple times a day, starting at 8 am. I've never answered but I called back and the women said she'd remove me from their call list.. but she obviously didn't because they called again two hours later! So I called once again and a guy told me he would remove my number from their list so we will see if that actually happens this time..

I WISH GM WOULDNT HAVE BEEN BAILED OUT.....CALLERS DONT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH THEY CALL ABOUT 8X A DAY.  I HAVE SENT HARDSHIP LETTERS ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND NEVER GET A RESPONSE.

These people call me up to 6-7 times within an 8 hour period. MY PAYMENT IS 4 DAYS LATE. You have to be kidding me!!

This number is one of many that is used by ALLY, the company that bought out GMAC. These people are the most persistent callers we have ever seen, even if your account is current.

First let me start by saying mostly everyone is late with a bill from time to time.  I fell behind when I became unemployed.  I called GMAC and let them know I would be making a payment.  They use an outside payment service who does not communicate with GMAC.  The best thing to do if you owe money is either talk to GMAC directly or make your payment online.  I owed 2 payments, a total of 700.00.  I made a payment on Tuesday and had the outside source to post it for Thursday for 500.00.  Friday morning GMAC put an order in to  have my vehicle repoed.  The 500.00 did not show up until I got my vehicle back.  They had no record of the payment being made.  This was a total scam, GMAC wanted to be b*****ds about it.  I had all the extra expenses to get my vehicle back.  The guy who took my vehicle said GMAC does this kind of stuff all the time.  It was a Sunday evening and GMAC wasn't open for me to talk to about my payment.  Recently I was late again and when I answered the phone I made my payment.  It was the same service and was taken out of my account the next day.  This should have been done when I made the other payment but instead they wanted to show authority and take my vehicle.  I have someone looking into this for me.  I will post the results.

I do not own an account with GMAC, but apparently the person who had my phone number last did.  I've had my cell # for about two years now, though.  Anyway, they must have defaulted, because I get calls relentlessly from this number--starting at 6 in the morning until 9 at night, sometimes 10-12 times a day.  It is harassment, pure and simple.  When I call them to tell them it's NOT ME on that account and to stop calling, they don't believe me.  Ridiculous.

I owed two payments, and had them both scheduled to get caught up, WITH LATE FEE's INCLUDED.  Set it up through them...BTW, they calling outsouced location now is the philippine islands.  So go figure.  The call my number 6-10 times a day, and tell them they cannot call during work hours, and they still do.  I am caught up now, and they STILL CALL.  It is really disappointing that GMAC gives work to other countries now instead of employing AMERICAN CITIZENS!  Nice work GM.

I'm out of work like alot of people. I have been making my monthly payments  They are calling me constantly to make a late fee payment. I owe $3,600 on this car and get phone call s all the time. FU

It is NOT ok for them to call you at work. You can request that they no longer call you at your work number. They have to be able to comply with that

Even when you tell them you are making your paym,ent within the next 3 days, they still every day!!!  useless POS... I iwll never finance through GMAC, as a matter of fact, F@#$ GMAC!!!

I got this call from 1 877 227 0367 They asked to speek to my husband. When I asked who is calling they gave me a name. I asked what company they told me they could not give me anymore information. So I told them then they can not call here becuase he is not here! I hang up!!!!!

GMAC Sucks so bad... I will never finance through them ever again.. The way they outsource ruined it for me!!!
