got a call from "Jeff" about our RV with this number....wants to know if it is still for sale....we have it listed on Craigslist too!!!  Thank goodness others have posted here; it is saving us a lot of heartache and trouble.....

well, he is still calling. Thought it was too good to be true to have a response on our add for our RV. Have had these type of calls before but was from a female, who also got rude on the call backs. So before I took the time to even call him back would look the number up and sure enough here he is. Thanks for this web site. Oh and still using "Jeff"!

He has moved into the aviation market now - beware people - he is using the same number and the same name as "Jeff."  Apparently he is not aware of this website, or does not care.

Listed a RV on e-bay and rv trader.  Got a call from "Jeff" from Specialty network, specialty motors.  He became aggressive and nasty when I said that I was doing an okay job without his services.  He portrayed his services as "financing" for larger vehicle purchases.

Looks like these calls are still coming through!  I got this same call about my camper.  The number of calls from people/companies wanting to help "sell" my vehicle for money is unreal.  I ended up changing my phone number.  This time around I wouldn't give him my name as I wasn't sure if it was a telemarketer or not.  He ended up hanging up on me.  Guess he really didn't want my camper!

I received a call from "Jeff" wanting to sell my vehicle and what a scam!!! The Better Business Bureau gives his company an "F" rating and he couldnt show me any proof of what he does. Glad this site is here! He was a real do***ebag. Dont fall for his trickery!...

Beware of Jeff from 877-229-0250!  If you do not immediately agree to pay this fast talking salesman $379 right away, he gets rude and hags up on you.  Has a real attitude problem so avoid at all costs.

this scam is still going!!! "Jeff" called my parents pressuring them to pay him $300 to list their motorhome --- saying he'd just sold 2 last Friday (This is Monday AM). They called me -- I looked up the number which brought me here.  They told "Jeff" to call me -- I was handling the sale.  "Jeff" calls me... and when I commented about scams... that I didn't appreciate ANYONE trying to scam my folks out of thier money, He denied being a scam... I next asked him to PROVE to me that he had sold 2 last Friday.  His response to me: "You know what, I don't have to put up with this, I'll find another motorhome owner..."  BAD NEWS!  RUN! RUN RUN! as fast as you can from anyone with this number---877-229-0250!  IF they are NOT willing to provide references, then I RUN and don't look back. I am calling/emailing the Omaha BBB to file a complaint on them -- for harasment and poor/questionable business practices with reference to previous scams from this number.

Wow, this is amazing!!! I wish there were more post sights like this. All the crappy unknown phone numbers we all receive, and unlike the old days, where you could call 411 and find out who called, now you go online to see who it is, and all anyone wants is $$$ for free information!!! I just received this call also, and have an RV for sale... Thankx for all the posts, you saved me another B.S call!!!

It was weird getting a call from this number about my Corvette for sale. But after navigating me through the site "JIM" showed me their specialty network Ebay Store and I seen they were a titanium Ebay power seller with 98% positive feedback and you can see the feedback received from the buyers and sellers. So everyone who gets a call from this 877 number, go to Ebay Motors, advanced search, find stores, and type "specialty network" in search engine and read their feedback and make up your mind. Im glad about this site however. Alot of SCAMS for sure!!! DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!

I am so glad this site is up. Jim Douglass calls repeatedly. I have hung up on him numerous times, asked him to not call, told him I'm not interested and he still keeps calling! He started off by saying he has 3 requests for exactly the type of car I'm selling. That was a red flag right away. For $300 he said he would list my car on Ebay motors, pay for shipping of the car to the new buyer, arrange financing, etc. I asked him to send me an email to confirm what he told me over the phone. When I got the email I learned he is NOT with Ebay Motors as he portrayed. His company is in Omaha, NE and he does have a website autospecialties.net. He may be legit, but his tactics are unethical. I guess he gets enough people to pay him over the phone that he continues to spend his time calling people. Has anyone actually sold a car with this company?

Jim Douglas wanted me to pay him almost $500 to post my car on eBay! Posting a car now (June 2010) is FREE for local listings! THIS IS A SCAM! DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN ANY MONEY!

I received a call from this number and wanted to know what the heck was going on. Im glad i found this site because "Jim" listed my vehicle and I paid him $339. He seemed real decent and navigated me through the website. From what he showed me on Ebay Motors everything looks legit so...we'll see!!!

Now i had this guy call me about the car i've been selling on autotrader.com, and even if it's legit there is no way it costs $300 dillars to sell your car. Autotrader.com charges $65 for a posting that runs until the car sells, and ebay charges $110 for a listing. So he pays $110 or even cheaper because i'm sure he has a contract with ebay and pockets the rest of the money doing the same thing you would do on your own.

Another "Jim" call regarding a cars.com listing.  Wanted to see if the vehicle was still available, call back either way.  Left a voicemail.  Background noise seemed commercial.  Almost, busy telemarketing like.

Won't even call it to waste my time.  I can sell a car just fine without a scam.

i must admit it seemed a little weird gettin a "cold call" from Jim Douglass, but he showed me the site and i seen 100% postive feedback so i listed. My vehicles still hasnt been sold but ive had offers. Thanks for this site however. We'll see if it gets sold

A guy named "Jim" called me and listed my 2006 550i. I dont know what you guys are talking about but he sold my vehicle on Ebay!!! im referring him to anybody who wants to sell their vehicle!!!

He seem to have a site on Ebay, but the way he kept mentioning and stressing on ebay was as if he was trying to make me believe  that he is from ebay!!!  he clearly was lying to me and trying to sell me his deal, he is a very rude person.

Got the same message so he's still at it.  thanks for this site, it's a lifesaver.

I just got a message from "Jim" as well.  Based on what I see on this board, I am not going to call him back.
