(877)230-6732 : woman named "Vanessa" calling on behalf of the Children's Cancer Recovery Foundation. She first called about a month ago, asking for a $40 donation. I told her I had no problem donating, but would rather receive pamphlets and pledge card through mail, rather than giving out my Credit card info. I have not received anything in the mail. She has called 4 times in the last month, asking why I haven't  donated, and each time I've explained I never received mail from them. She continues to insist I donate using my credit card. Did some research on the organization, roughly 16cents of every $100 actually goes towards kids!

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also.

Charities, along with some Survey's and Political calls, are exempt from the DNC, however, they can still get into trouble for not placing you on a internal DNC when asked, you can also check your states laws in regards. Some states do not allow them to call on their state DNC laws which can differ from the federal.

877-213-6163    It called called us 5 times in 90mins.  We ignored the first 4; picked up the 5th one, who said they're a "national fund raiser for breast cancer" and we said to take us off their list.....  Now 877-230-6732 has started called as of 8:30AM today... She was told to take us off the list... stay tuned for the next # they call with...

Children's Cancer Foundation:  I can only donate the ten-dollars, and after I send the darn ten-dollars,take my name off the darn list,  MY BILLS comes first and foremost.  So sorry I agreed to donate the ten-dollars.  And P-L-E-A-S-E, don't call my freaking number again.

this number calls me at least five times a day and i answer the phone and they dont say anything so i hang up and they call again. i dont know where this person gets my number and i wish for them to stop calling me

Modern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore both the Do Not Call list and any request you might make.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The first thing to do is buy a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.

Google "call blocker" for more information.

If you cannot afford or use such a tool, then:
* Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
* Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers!  All that does is verify your phone number!  And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.

Get about 10 calls a day from this number - no one on the other end, rings 3 times and then hangs up.    How do I block that number.   We are the do not call list, and have tried to tell them that but no one answers on the other end.

I don't want these calls made to my home phone! They never post a company name so I refuse to answer these types of calls.

This number calls at least 5 - 6 times a day ! They very rarely leave a message. I have answered once or twice and they have my name and are asking for a donation to Breast Cancer. I said No and No Thank You! Still they

We receive calls from this number several times a day every single day. They say that they're "Breast Cancer of America" and that my mom is on their list and they will only talk to her. I told them that my mom has never had breast cancer and has never donated to them or any charity ever. They guy on the line said that her name is on their list and he will call back later.

Will not stop calling never leaving a message.  I think it is a supposed fund raiser who i agreed to donate to until I researched it and saw all these posts.

Persistence is good, but this is ridiculous! Daily calls at least 2 times a day! No thanks means NO!

I'm having the same problem. They keep calling several times a day, even after I've told them to stop, asking for donations. I told them I won't give my credit card info over the phone & to mail me some literature, which they never do. Everything about them seems suspicious.

They have other phone numbers as well, not just this one.

Once you make a donation to anything from these people, they will hound you for other charitable donations. I blocked them.
