I am having a problem with a debt collector that won't tell me what company I am in debt with.  I live in Orlando, FL and they are calling me from Vero Beach, FL stating that I am being taken to court and may be issures a bench warrant.  I called the place and as I continue to ask questions, he started acting like the phone went dead and couldn't hear me.  The number was from 772-925-8003 the caller ID shows it's Capital United. They have called my HR department and worrying my mother in Alabama.  This needs to be stopped!

I called them back they are Bay Area Credit. They were calling for the person that had my number prior to me.

5times I get harassing calls from this company.  They scream at me very loud, a woman.  I now live ona small amt. of federal funds.  I have told these people since I am on fed.funds they surely cannot touch me?

I am a disabled senior of 71 and I am a very high risk person.  I told them I am sorry that it could not be helped.   Theywillno leave me alone an end up laughing in my ear.  Please, I don't want to go to the hospital again, please.  I said, screaming, do not call me again.  I never knew human beings could be so terrible to anybody, let alone a old woman.

They called my cell which I have no idea how they got it, no one has it but family, friends, doctors, etc., people like that but can't trust anyone. Of course this company is from California, it'll be a blessing when they fall into the ocean, the only sad thing will be all the animals that will die. Now if only their was a way for New York to follow suite, I can't believe sommeone would try to collect from someone else's misfortune. I have an old unpaid hospital bill from the 80s they want me to pay, they're not getting crap. Why would anyone pay them if the initial company couldn't get it? How much does one of these companies make yearly & what's their staff like, how many employees?

I have no debt. All utilities, cells, everything is cuurent.My only CC is current. Never a bill collector or telemarketer call on my cell till today. I went 3 years perfect untill this.
Yesturday I signed up with Monster and since then, spam calls and emails like crazy.
This is insane.
If you are getting crap calls and just signed up for monster, just as employers are there, so are scammers.

"This is a call for Andre Cramer, if you are not Andre Cramer please hang up, if you are Andre Cramer please call 1 877 230 9773"  This ia a recorded message.  This has gone on for months.  I called and spoke with George Jefferson (?) who said these calls will stop.  I will believe it when it does stop.  This has been going on for 3 months now.

This was a call from a recorded message from an Indian speaking man who Slaughtered my name and I do not know why they are calling me. Got to stop have called me once a day for over a week I have even hung up when they indicate to hang up. Still receiving calls.

i've been getting these calls also, beware, there is a huge scam going on protraying themselves as credit or legal services. ignore all calls do not give them any information

Automated call says, "We are calling with an important message. Please call us at 1-877-230-9773. This is not a sales or marketing call...."

They have called over and over, leaving messages on my answering machine. I decided to call them back and I got an automated message saying, "For English press 1." I pressed one that they hung up.STOP DOING STUPID PHONE CALLS,

We've had this phone number for over 5 years and repeatedly get calls looking for the person who once had this number.  What don't they understand?

I too received a call about debt collection from this bogus number.

Looks like the number or the company has changed.

They have been calling me at least 6 times a day. So I decided to call back and reached a line that said :

You have reached "Associated Community Services". A company that works with a number of charitable organizations. So I figured that this is a call for a donation.

Despite of being on the Do not call list, they keep calling.

I have been getting the same message for days in a row.  Each time I call, the representatives "can't find a record of my number," and then they have said they will leave my number with a "do not call" message.  I'm still getting the calls.

Got automated call from 877-230-9773 bay area credit service. I didn't want to call the number because I knew it was a scam. They were calling for somebody's last name named Vue??? HUH?? I don't owe anyone any money, so that's why it is a scam. If you do enough reading on the net you'll find out it is a scam. So just for the heck of it I went to their pathetic web site and called the 866 number just to see for myself it hopes of ripping someone a new one.. I get the same answer and hang up from their side. Think outside the box here. Why is their dialer going ape s^&@? Why do they call so much regardless if you've called them and told the biggest BIOTCH or A-HOLE to take your number off their list? Work with me people. They wouldn't be sending the ape s^#& dialer out for nothin'. Maybe they are hoping that they can piss enough people off that those miffed people that are tired of all that ape s^^@ might call them back. Once you call them back, they record your phone number provided you don't have caller ID blocking. Who knows what they do with all those phone numbers. Maybe sell them especially if they can get a name and a SS # out of dummies.
They should write the book if they haven't already. "Scams for Dummies. A book on how to identify all types of Scams". My parents need to buy that book. They call me at least once a week with a letter, e-mail, or phone call of the scam type. They just refuse to let the answering machine do its job. My advice. Ignore them. Screen all calls. Better yet, get dial-up internet and surf the web ALL DAYY!

no credit problems that i know of - so i think i will ignore them :)

When you return the call , someone ask for your name, b day, social # and other important sensitive info, dont give it out.  They couldnt even tell me why I was being called and had no record of me other than my number.

I've received four calls the past week alone. Another four calls the previous week. I answered only once, and the caller asked for 'Bradley'. I told him there was no such person here and promptly hung up.

I have to post this actual event that took place over my CELL PHONE within the last week.I answered my cell since the area code looked familar. I said HELLO?.....  THis guy said "Hi..I'm Bill Turner from Bay Area Credit Services and we are a collection service in CA. I am calling you to request payment of $455.76 for an outstanding AT&T bill for your home phone." I said REALLY NOW? WHAT PHONE NUMBER IS TAGGED WITH THIS OUTSTANDING CLAIM?. He said " The number is ######(my CELL number).." I SAID ARE YOU SURE? THAT IS MY CELL # AND NOT A LAND LINE. He said "Oh... (Pause)... I'm sorry Keith.... you must have had an old Land Line before so that's what it is".. I said NO, FIRST OFF, MY NAME IS KEVIN, NOT KEITH AND I NEVER HAD AT&T OR A LAND LINE. I ALWAYS USE MY CELL AND FURTHER MORE I NEVER HAD AT&T. I HAVE VERIZON. He then says "Oh, well AT&T owns Verizon so it's the same company. I said NO SIR, THATS CRAZY SINCE I AM IN TELECOM AS AN ENGINEER SO YOU'LL HAVE TO DO BETTER THAN THAT... He paused for a second, put me on hold for 20 seconds and then said.... "I'm sorry Kyle, I was looking at the wrong screen, this claim is Medical and for an Ambulance Transport to the Hospital recently. I said INTERESTING SINCE I'VE NEVER BEEN IN AN AMBULANCE AND HAVEN'T BEEN IN THE HOSPITAL FOR AN ILLNESS IN MY LIFE. He pauses again and says this..."Oh, whatever... so are you gonna pay? I said NO DAMN WAY AHOLE. He says... "You're the AHOLE... just pay. I am trying to make a living here so just pay the fee dude so I can put food on the table for my family". I said WHATS MY NAME AGAIN?. He said "How the hell do I know that. I just want your Credit Card # NOW !!!"... So i hung up the phone. This was the biggest joke. I have received 2 other calls but changed my cell recently and am very happy since all has stopped. Yes, they are a SCAM !!!!

i've gotten the call 2 times already.  when i called back i got a machine. i'm 18 years old what debts are they collected from me? i've never even had a credit card.
